Yeah, it is complex, which is why I didn't mention anything about governement.
None of it makes sense to me.
But there's a reason for the bs, and I don't think a lot of people are remembering the 90's and when everyone was all like, "Oh, poor somolia!" and the poor hungry babies with the big tummies and flies on their eyes.

Holy shit! |I should have gone to school in the UK, I would have fucking graduated with flying colors, ahahaha!

60-69? Jesus fucking christ! I would have passed chemistry after all! :-D

If I got a grade of 60, I would have never passed any of the classes in my major!

An a is 90-100
a b is 80-90
a c is 70 - 80
and a D is 60-70, and it would probably be a better idea to take the class over than to just leave it like that on your transcript.
if you get below a 60 you've failed the class.

Are there other factors other than tests, finals midterms and homework that students are graded on, such as attendance or in-class behavior/participation?

I wonder if university level classes are just easier here? Or maybe they're exponentially harder in the UK?

how do grades work in the uk? in the us, you get a % scale, so 100 would be good, and 60 would obviously be a fail. |How does that work that 60 wouldn't be terrible?
