I am thinking of starting to get this delivered as it would mean I could do it (I don't drive) and he works so many hours both day and evening that this would maybe be best.

Then I get all the daily vegetables and meat and other items on my trips into town with the pram.

This way we always have tins and cat food and nappies and toilet paper and rice in always and I buy vegetables from the cheaper veg shop that you couldn't buy in advance from owing to the produce being fresh and cheap but not long lasting and meat from the butchers...

Also it means I can decide that day what to cook.

But then I guess we are lucky as his dad has an allotment so a lot of veg comes from there and his parents used to own a restaurant so still regularly go to the wholesalers so our freezer is usually full of whole sea bass and pork belly and beef :D

But it may all change once the baby starts weaning in a few weeks!!

Oh and yesterday I bought cream, mushrooms and "Country Life" so that was a productive trip!!

Re: BrocanteHome Hearts The Shabbee Chick

I love the new blog...especially that the red polka dots are still here albeit in a shabbier way ;)

I didn't know about the controversy either so I went back to read...I don't get why people are upset.
