I completely agree, was coming here to write this. Arguably TV+ has by far the worst amount of and actual content of the three mentioned. Giving it away was the only way they got so many subscribers, when they announced this I knew something like this would happen despite the number of people actually still watching (even show runners seem to be jumping ship) and the complete lack of actual content.

The free year of Disney+ offered by Verizon is only for a small portion of people, not everyone has Verizon. Disney+ is so much better than TV+. So arguably it’d have less of an impact on membership numbers.

I was seeing the same thing on both my iPhone 6+ running iOS 9.3.2 and 9.7" iPad Pro running 9.3.1.

I let the black screen sit there for a good 3 - 4 minutes and eventually the game FINALLY started up.

Then it sat at the post-login/loading for another 5+ minutes while it loaded everything.

I was just on the phone with an Apple service rep for the last 30+ minutes about this very issue, while this was being serendipitously posted. When I got off hold, I made sure to point her this post and recommended that she tell the engineers get to in touch with Bruce as well.

Kids just went back to school today, so Summer is officially over. It's always sad to see Summer end, but Black Friday is a nice shining beacon of consumerism and hope to look forward to.

If by shocking, you really mean "boring". Other than Uncharted 4, I really couldn't care less about any of the other games (The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII remake and Shenmue III) that you are holding up as highlights of the show.

It seem like they focused too much time catering to a single type of gamer.

No Man's Sky looks like it is coming along nicely as well.

I feel like Microsoft (who definitely lost to Sony last year) rallied and easily won E3 this year, with a better crop of game demos and (real) console exclusives, free backwards compatibility and not timed or exclusive betas.

If anyone could come up with a really cool, immersive gaming experience utilizing the Apple Watch, I think you are right, Simogo would be an ideal choice. I'd love to see what Simon and Gordon could come up with if allowed to just run with it.

I hate this and wish Apple would actually do something about it.

We have a huge problem with this at my local store in Nashua, NH every time a new device is released. They show up with their stacks of Apple Store gift cards ready to buy out the inventory. The store employees know exactly what's going on but can't (or unwilling to) do anything about it. I've seen they try to use their numbers to intimidate fans getting in line, like they own the place. My brother experienced it first-hand a few years back, while trying to purchase an iPad mini.

This morning I got accosted by one of their crew while leaving the mall after picking up my iPhone 6 Plus. She kept asking is she could buy it and how many I purchased.

I'm sure its because they want to avoid possible lawsuits or discrimination claims, but it should be within Apple's rights to refuse service to these obvious resellers. :(

Wow...so many haters in these comments...

While I don't agree with all of the arguments made in this post, I for one would LOVE to see a (Surface-style) keyboard added to the iPad.

I use my iPad Air for pretty much everything, but the on screen keyboard just does not cut it when it comes to typing anything of significant length. So I carry around a BT keyboard or use a rotating BT Keyboard case to fill the void.

Something thin and light and built right into the cover would be fantastic and make the iPad that much more flexible as a suitable laptop replacement when traveling. However many of these cases are just as heavy if not heavier than the iPad itself!

Fortunately it seems that we may finally be getting a pseudo file system thanks to the iCloud changes coming in iOS 8, not if they can just add a keyboard cover...

iPad version soft launched in Canada, New Zealand and Australia earlier this week, should be available worldwide soon. "Android™device, iPhone, and Windows tablet versions are also in development and will be available in the future."

Amazon needs to stop giving 6 months free and 50% off subscriptions on Prime memberships to Students (I believe "Moms" get some sort of discount as well) and start charging everyone who uses the service the same amount. I have no doubt these 'student" memberships are wrought with fraudulent accounts. That way one group is not subsidizing another.

Our family hardly uses the Amazon streaming services much at all, so if they do have to hike the prices I'd have no problem with a new tiered system.
