Sad to hear, JJ had a smooth sound. Knew his nephew and then met JJ in Tulsa back in the day. Leon Russell, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, et. al hung out at the clubs Nine Of Cups and Magician's Theater, along with JJ, in Tulsa.

Aw, you should've kept him! :( We work with a couple of dog rescue groups. We have 3 adopted and usually have 1 foster we keep until we think he/she is ready to be adopted. Right now we have a foster Scottish Terrier, but usually have West Highland Terriers or Cairn Terriers. It is a lot of work, especially with 4, sheesh, lol.

The USA is changing, for sure. I'm one of the middle, swing voters, not Republican or Democrat, though I've been involved in politics on both sides. The problem with paying for all this social justice the Democrats want is that the Republicans spent all the money from 2000-2006: wars, Medicare increased coverage, then the financial system crisis, then the Great Recession. So ramping up and implementing major social legislation right now is bad timing, to say the least, lol. I almost forgot what I was going to say, saw the Babe of the Day, Jessica Alba, sheesh, good grief, lmao. :)

Hmm, well the USA hasn't hit bottom yet, and the federal deficits can't be stopped by either Republicans or Democrats. They've both had their chances. Medicare, Social Security, Military, and Federal Employee & Military Pensions & Benefits are breaking USA and are politically untouchable. Entitlements will finish USA off, because everyone wants someone else to "sacrifice", but not them. Over & Out...

BTW, QQQQ broke through resistance but AAPL failed to do so. If AAPL breaks through 208.70, QQQQ could really pop. Curious to see what this week brings. We're long CRM, GS, EWZ. I sold AAPL at 200+ a few weeks ago. If AAPL takes out resistance, think I'll go long QQQQ & maybe AAPL. I'd feel better if IWM would get with the rally & take out resistance also. We'll see...

Yeah, a lot of chatter about that downward trendline from the highs on SPX. Of course, ,the line keeps going down as time progresses, so even if SPX trades sideways (which is what I think is what is going to happen for awhile), the downtrend line will be overcome. Of course, if the SPX rode that line downwards, the Bears would be ecstatic, lol.

As I noted to Brian Johnson on his YouTube page, the USD is already being defended, so I don't see a continuing downward spiral for USD, at least for now. USA (Fed's Bernanke & Treasury's Geithner) don't have to "do" anything. Russia, Thailand, South Korea, Phillipines, probably others are protecting their interests by supporting USD (WSJ reported this 11-12-09). It appears to me USD decline will be slowed or stopped, and assuming equities don't decouple from USD, the equities bull market will slow down and perhaps stop, for the short term at least, imho. My best guess is equities will trade sideways for some time to come, I think the big equities run up is over for awhile.

Been there done that, embarrassed to say how many times. I mostly trade off daily charts, occasionally hourly charts. Whatever time frame I trade, that's the time frame I watch, monitor support/resistance, set stops/limits. That's the only way I can personally maintain any strategy consistency/integrity. The shorter the chart time frame from what I traded off of, the more stress - exaggerates the moves/volatility, lol.

AAPL is such a bellweather stock with a loyal following, even fans & groupies, lolz. A lot of emotion involved with Apple. Will be interesting to see how this stock plays out this week.
