What Press, the only thing I have been reading is loudmouth Liberal Propaganda. Sorry there is no free press in Canada, not a single station that has the guts to sometime reports something good about this Government. Funny though, inspite of the spinning, the Tories seemed to have won the last two elections.

Your accusation is very wrong. Proroging Parliament is legal and at the disgression of the PM.
Most of the people in Canada do not give a hoot. They know that it is the media and the opposition who make a hoopla out of it. I wish someone would file a law suit again the two Liberal Members who openly accused our People in Afghanistan of participating in Torture. Of course these two are the usual loudmouth. If the Liberals are so serious about this, bring down the house and let's see how the people feel about it. But they don't have the guts.

About this proroging Parliament. How come all of a sudden they are upset about it. Where were these clowns, including all the protesters when Chretien did it four times. Where were they when he cancelled the Somalia Inquiery, because it came to close to his office. Of course that was a number of years ago and all these young protesters were still in diapers. Now they have to be informed by the Liberanos that Proroging Parliament is wrong? How quaint. It appears to me that the people who started this so called prostest are totally ignorant of parliamentary process.

East of Eden. I could not agree with you more. Although most Americans are sincere in their desire to assist and help, even in the mighty USA there is a lot of corruption. All you have to do is listen to the news. I sincerely hope that our Government has a better handle on all this monetary aid and where it goes. I would hate to see another corrupt Government in Haiti. It will take many years to rebuilt the country. This is the upside of this disaster, and I sincerely hope that the developed countries stick around to rebuilt.

Another reliable organization would be Salvation Army. I agree, and preferr these organization over some political money. It will only end up in the wrong hands. Although it appears, that there is no Government in Haiti left.

Hollin, You are right. I have been in Ontario recently and watched the Repatriation of our Dead Soldier, you know that the Public at large could not give a hoot, about the detainee issue. Just talk to ordinary people like I have.

Hollin, you are so dead on. The Buffon from the Eastcoast was enough to make me ill. I can't wait to see the Senate reformed. I am sure I am not the only one who thinks so. The Senate in its present form, unelected etc. is a dictatorship, who only thinks about party politics, not the will of the People.

I don't know why you get so riled up about this. In truth this is merely an extension of the Christmas Season for Parliament by what, week, then days? The truth is that the public is getting fed up with the Theater of the Liberals particular Bob Ray and Usual Dosanght( forgive my mispselling) about our forces in Afghanistan. Really who cares what the Afghans do with their prisoners, I for one don't. And please spare me this nonsense of the Geneva convention. When Eisenhower starved thousand of POW's in the Rhineland to death with the excuse of DEF, Nobody said boo.

I am not an Albertan and my experience with Alberta politics is very limited. But from what I can see The new Wild Rose is standing way to the right but most importantly I get the impression that this Alliances is really fed up with Quebec. Maybe Ed St. should have a look at that.

Machicavelli. I had hoped that the whole thing would go bust, for the same reasons you stated.
Having listened to Obama and Harper, I suspect that this is only window dresssing. Nothing is in any way shape or form binding. Besides China would never let any outsider into their country to check on their emission, no matter what the agreement,which ditches the whole thing.

Well, the Russian Scientist are complaining that only those temperature measurements in Urban areas of Russia have been included in the East Anglia calculations. All interior measurments have been excluded. They amount to 40 % of the whole. Nice little swindle, eh.

Sir Alex. I whole heartily agree. Global warming or earth changes has nothing to do with us humans, but comes from the Sun. Kyoto is the biggest world wide swindle ever perpetrated.
