Sunset Park is great if you want to go to a Mexican diner and eat tacos, agreed. But that's about it. Ever wanted a margarita or a mojito with your Mexican dinner? Good luck in Sunset Park. I lived there for a year, and unless I was OK with being blinded by fluorescent lights while quickly shoving something down my taco-hole that particular day, I avoided eating in the neighborhood. (OK, Eclipse was one exception, but, though also cheap, that's not the type of a proletarian Mexican joint you're exalting there.) Sometimes you don't want to go to a fucking diner, and you sure as hell don't want to go out of your *way* to get there after a long day at work. Boom.
