I love the trains in Europe! I completely agree with you that trains are the way to go and the best thing about them is that you leave from a station that is normally right downtown and you arrive downtown, which is normally where you want to be, so it cuts down on your commute. In France you can get from Paris to Marseilles in 3 hours! That's all the way across the country! :) I hope that it becomes a reality for you guys! :)

I love going for good food when I am on vacation. In fact when I go certain places I also have to plan certain days around where I'm going to eat. Especially when I go back home to Vancouver and I have to eat sushi! Yum!

My week has been shit, but it's looking up! :)

Wow sounds like quite the adventure. I love how cops get bored and pull people over for no reason. (On a BIKE no less!) It feels like such an abuse of power!

You're a much braver person than me for riding around a city on a bike! Yikes! :)

Sounds like you had a pretty good weekend all in all lol. I have always heard so much about the buffets on the strip, and my Dad and Bro always rave about the buffet at the Bellagio, so I have always been curious. Mind you I have always been curious about Vegas so one day I am just going to have to check it all out for myself! :P

Oh man I feel for you. I was a server for 5 years and I used to hate getting the idiots like that! Arg it makes me mad just thinking about it!!! Oh and those tips, it's like I would almost prefer getting nothing to being insulted with such a small amount! Grrrr You're right though, what goes around does come around! :)
