Awesome post! I'd be lying if I said I've never been @ a point where I was ashamed of my race. Not ashamed of who I am, but more so of who "we" are as a whole. There have been times where I have thought that we have got to be the most ignorant race, there are times when I've thought we're the most beautiful.

It's sad how violence, immaturity and self hatred can so easily distort our views and how others view us as a whole.

What's even sadder is that it continues to get worse. I think about my future children and cringe @ the thought of what it may be like when their generation arrives.

We can only hope & pray that things will change for the better but if we're leaning on THAT as reality....I'd say its just wishing thinking...

NOBODY "wants" ugly kids. I think the reality is we all subconciously think about it @ some point or another. Ehhh the "moral" side of me thinks talk'n about folks chul'ren is "off limits" BUT the Idon'tgiveafuck.com side of me HAS indeed said a few things about a big headed baby or two... nothing I'd say aloud of course hehe... =)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this post! Everyone's been jumping on my boo (jokes ppl JUST jokes) these days. But despite my "love" (jokes JUST jokes) for him I gotta keep it REAL and say that I agree with you 110%. I think Lauren & Wayne are the perfect examples for this topic!

The truth is, we are all guilty of being superficial at some point in our lives. But for me, I think the more I've experienced and the more I've grown...the more I've been able to look past some of the very things that I was allowing myself to be held back by.

I think it goes back to having "Unconditional Love", but does that truly still exist? and why is it not so common???

So you're saying there's no such thing as monogamy unless you're married? or is that just what you have chosen to believe? Trust me, I hear AND I feel what you're saying about becoming "bored" with your significant other, hey it happens. But as ADULTS I think that's when we need to find the perfect opportunity to use that noun; in which I like to call "maturity".

Cheating IS different from a woman's perspective verses a man's. Because CLEARLY men have the tendency to separate sex from emotion. Which is why they deem it as "Okay"...

You made very clever points but the unfortunate part is that I don't deem the majority of them as "valid" and it all sums up to bullshit. None of this justifies CHEATING.

Sure, there's a such thing as an "open relationship" and to each its own. And I DO agree with you 110% about "discussing" boundaries with your S.O. beforehand in order to save yourselves from the heartache. But that's something that has to be MUTUALLY accepted & understood.

So IMO the phrase "there's no such thing as cheating" is just a weak attempt to defend & justify HIS/HER fucked up ways....
