What are the business barriers to your on demand business model? I think your idea is the future of tv programming. Probably scary and too out of the box to the major networks and players?

Re: James Siminoff - JerichoPalooza Explained

Jericho Update? UHD Jericho ads set to go national next week.

Make a great product like Jericho people will pay for it and advertisers have and will notice!

Re: James Siminoff

Agree!

There is a local Dave and Busters that I brought my younger son to for a birthday party with Friends. If you have never been there its a nice Chain - that features a pretty good restaurant attached to basically a large arcade room.

Typically you go there and eat lunch and then unleash the kids on games etc. The Menu had a very detailed "history" of how Dave's business merged with Busters as well as the evolution and chronology on new store openings. It caught my attention and was a nice tie in.

Re: James Siminoff - Getting close to the IPO

I have seen the good and the bad of IPO's.

I was not Sr Mgmt but close enough to be a regional player in the TCG (Teleport Communication Group) IPO. I witnessed a Sr Mgmt team remain focused and execute on business plan and grow business smartly. Stock pushed 100 and ATT bought out the first and largest CLEC of that era. (They wanted us off the streets as we were hurting them - JMO)

I also was close to some of the .com VOIP/Telco plays 1999-2001 era that got caught up in the hype, lost focus on executing or had flawed plan and Wall Street and the whole IPO game is a big racket. Be very cautious and keep your eye on the ball.

Or they will take the ball and go home.

But yes I like the baby mantra - and that the baby needs even more attention post birth........

GOOD LUCK!

Re: “Jericho” Rangers still hard at work

Also to Note that in various Nuts to Nielsen shellings of Nielsen headquarters, Variety, Nielsen in Oldsmar Florida and this week at Hollywood reporter in excess of 5,000 pounds of nuts were ultimately donated to local foodbanks and shelters.

Re: James Siminoff

opportunity to provide software that can make a blackberry able to globally open attachments?. Cliff notes this is an ongoing effort by Jericho Fans to protest antiquated Nielsen ratings and at same time promote Jericho's case for Season 3.

Re: James Siminoff - JerichoPalooza Explained

Revised Press Release - I have every right to post Jericho News! You don't own Jericho TV ad rights and I have every right to report what is in the news. I probably crossed the line with a cut and past and rewrote :)

Just trying to get Jericho some love in the press!

Jericho Fans NUT giving up on Season 3!

Jericho fans are sending 1,100 pounds of Peanuts to Hollwood Reporter this week to highlight recent Save Jericho efforts and displeasure with antiquated Nielsen ratings system.

In yet another Nuts to Nielsen effort, Jericho fans want to highlight the ill’s in the currently antiquated Nielsen ratings system and continue to highlight various fan based initiatives such as the Save Jericho Billboard in Hollywood and the recent Jericho Cable TV ad airing in Los Angeles. The recipients of this wave of friendly Peanuts is the Hollywood Reporter. Previous Nuts to Nielsen targets have ranged from Nielsen Headquarters, Variety Magazine, Oldsmar, Florida Nielsen facility and the LA Times. Peanuts are ultimately donated to charitable organizations. It’s alarming in 2008 that 99.999% of TV viewers are not counted by Nielsen yet are the currency for an estimated $2B in advertising dollars.

Several networks are believed to be interested in Jericho season 3 based on recent Jericho Producers comments. Rumors abound on a potential Jericho Movie and also an investment group led by James Siminoff is interested in reviving Jericho on a on demand pay per view basis. They thought they would be terminating the majority of calls on their network versus our small start up CLEC network. We really had no option and had to sign an MOU based reciprocol comp deal. Well back mid 1990's we started getting a lot of data traffic, ISP's etc. And we quickly realized we were killing traffic onto the Verizon switches!

We quickly started almost giving away data pipes to ISP's to generate inbound traffic. A year later Verizon was crying bloody murder that ISP traffic should not counT. The ratio was like 90% to 10% in our favor and years later they had to write us a $30M check.

Finding an opportunity and leveraging it.

Re: Update on Jericho Faithful Continued Attempts

Together we can make Season 3 Happen!

Re: James Siminoff - JerichoPalooza Update 3

All this is somewhat new, I was posting as Jonathan but have set up a NorsU profile to use forward.
