Yep. I can. Come down to The Club and we can talk about ocean and air current patterns....and Gulf Streamy things like the palm trees that grow in Southern England...

We can also discuss how arming water creates more clouds, which creates severe change in precipitation...and gasp... may create cooler temperatures.

So yes... warming doth bring cooling... but we can talk about it over a Martini....

I think I paid more taxes last year than the plant. In the last 10 years or so taxes on the power plant fell by 60 percent. In 1997, the plant paid $8.9 million in property taxes. In 2008, it paid $3.5 million.

Our gin bill at The Club is higher.

Wow. I skip a few months and the commentary gets so cutting edge. What happened? Dominion Dust affect your brains?

It wouldn't surprise me though. The Salem plant is one of the top 5 polluters in MA according to the EPA (www.epa.gov/triexplorer). That kind crap getting in your melon definitely would alter the quality of the comments on here.

We have a guy here at The Club who really gets toxic after a few Harvey Wallbangers.

Neolib?Is anyone actually allowed to use that? I don't think it's RLCAFC (Rush Limbaugh Certified and Approved for Copying).

By default "braindead" would more aptly be conservative than liberal too because if you are "braindead", change can't happen. I might also have used a space or hyphen in "brain-dead" or "brain dead'...but then again I am neither.

Because I tell them "Eating eggs is like licking a chicken's butt."

Of course, both imply someone is licking things they shouldn't be just so they can have a comparison.
