I can't wait! MobileChat is still my favorite IM application (next to AIM, but that's only cause their icon is pretty nice). Of course for work/business/personal purposes I've had to go with alternatives. But I definitely can't wait to be able to sign into MobileChat.

Awww. I'm upset this came out a day after I spent a lot of money on another...

I like the look of MobileChat more and of course the price. :(

At least AIM works (albeit terribly) as opposed to MSN, but at least it's working.

Also keep in mind that MSN is used more than AIM (AIM is most used in the United States...but the rest of the world predominently uses MSN)

Yeah, well, there's nothing you can do about it...the other IM applications aren't even competition...the sole fact that MobileChat keeps you online is the thing that makes the other apps nowhere near MobileChat.

Unfortunately, you just have to live with it. I'm sure even though you've been busy, you've had a chance to look at the iTunes reviewers...App Store reviewers are just terrible. They rip on every single application because they believe it should be free (when in reality, the iPhone is probably one of the first phones to have over ten applications free) or that it should work right away (apparently they don't know what updates are). They then see your support link, leading to here, then they refire the same thing.

Personally, I have had many issues, making it impossible to use MobileChat. Yes, principally, it does make me slightly agitated as MobileChat continues to be $2.99 on the App Store. But I can also say that for these things, I am patient.

But I know that even me (also a dev) cannot imagine the workload you must be having. Every time I connect to MobileChat, it's a different experience. I can tell that things are being worked on. It's good.

Well, out of all the features you decided to take out, I'm glad it was only those two. MobileChat was the first IM on probably any mobile phone to get live typing notifications...and buddy icons are really just for show. So those two are just to make it look nice. It's good to see everything else working relatively well, though. Good job! Can't wait for Apple to push out 3.1.

I think you should relist like 3.2 completely (or 3.1 if there's a way) when you finish the servers...then at least the reviews on iTunes will be more accurate, and if all goes well, more focused on the application itself rather than the server.

Nice to know that you're implementing OpenClip. I personally wouldn't use it in my applications. Can't wait for Apple's version, though :) (which will probably be just a single method for textfields, textviews, and labels).

Hopefully Apple will push the MobileChat update soon. For me, the only thing that's buggy is that the buddy list doesn't update. Other than that, it's all good (and a lot better than the jailbreak version :) Nice job!).

Amazing price if you can keep us signed on (unlike AIM which keeps us on for like 15 minutes...).
