You're right Tema! We didn't approach this lightly.

In the end we decided to go all in on growth through relationship, sharing, word of mouth and connecting with great people... instead of growing through SERP placement.

I'm the dumb guy when it comes to search, but Corbett and Caleb are no match for my enthusiasm about relationship and engagement. (and cat gifs, but that's a different story).

You could do it either way, Armen. We've done it both. This change is not so much about the name, but the direction of the company.

I'm about the same. Closer to 4. I listen to the whole thing at 2x speed taking notes, editing cusses, etc.

Then write title, description, blog post, intro/outro (this takes a while sometimes).

It's fun. Takes work though :|

That's where it started for me, Curtis. But it ended in: I just really like the company. Mailchimp is smart, forward thinking, supportive of the internet community, etc. I want our company to stand for those kinds of things too.
