I was surprised that Twitched. . .umm. . .(tries to think of a polite phrase). . .stunk up the joint with that mambo. I thought mambo would be a gift since as a hiphop dancer he should be accustomed to dancing to syncopated rhythms/patterns.

I'd like to see Courtney and Twitch paired just to see if the russian penchant for pairing tall male skaters with really petite female skaters works on the dance floor. As long as they dont pull ballroom, it should work.

I think the show needs a bit of an overhaul. After top 10, the show needs to ditch the solo. The solos tend to be variations of solos we have seen earlier; which, just bore me to tears. Have America vote for bottom 2 guys and girls who then must undergo a gauntlet to stay in. One gauntlet could be this one (except with bamboos and song 10x faster) and the guy and girl with broken ankles get sent home:

Well, given enough time anybody could finish a marathon. Heck, even Oprah finished one! But, yes, winning one, even the non-ultra one, would make it to my very demanding list. Learning 45-90sec of choreo still would not make the list, tho. ;)

Well there are degrees of severity. You go without water long enough and after 3 days you die! I dont think Jessi/Jesse was ever near that stage, thankfully. She was chachaing and soloing the day after so all she needed was that IV. It's all moot since Nigel sent her packing, after "lying" to her that her solo will be the determining factor. As I stated earlier, Im more upset at the "lying" than the actual outcome.

So im going to try to consolidate the answers to the past few posts...

Almost all the dances we're pretty well recieved with the exception of 2(IIRC) There was actually a minimal amount of booing at the judges comments...a lot more disappointed, "awwwwsss"

The pimping was super obvious...

There are some SICK as hell performances. The Pas de Deux (while i find it suspect about who "pulled it out of the hat") was truly amazing. All the choreographers in the audience gave it a standing ovation and nigel actual timed out the taping to talk about Desmond for a good 5 minutes. I dont expect to see any of that in the edited episode.

My top three dances

Pas De Deux(Will and Jessica)
HipHop(Comfort and Twitch)-even mary said it was buck.... i pray to god she never uses that word again.
Contemporary(gev and Chelsie)

The second half was better, the solos were awesome(especially mark's)

What else you want to know....

Nick: (sotto voce) Also someone who went predicts that bottom 2: Mark/Kher and Twitch/Comfort. Looks like another night of heavy voting for you JoannaOC :(

Well Nigel did make of point that her fate would be decided with her solo as it was pre top 10, so judges vote off. But I agree with the Ppyhojarvi that they need to make their rules clear because it was pretty obvious Jesse was a goner no matter how her solo went. The whole "here is how the chacha would have looked" and making her dance a solo was a mockery.

Does dehydration = hurt? Not so sure. Dehydration can be easily fixed. . .you know, drink more water! Broken ribs, not so easy to fix. If it was me, I would have given her another go; and if she borked up the show again, then buhbye. Is it obvious that Im not the exec producer or in anyway associated with the show? heh

ETA: Very physically and mentally demanding would be Navy Seal Training, serving in Iraq/Afg, something along those lines. Learning 45-90sec of choreo, might be challenging; but I would hardly call it VERY physically and mentally demanding. ;)

Shame about Jessica having to pull out, but on the good side, lots and lots of Mia fodder to feed my theories!

As for Comfort, I'm with JoannaOC on this one. I hope she can pull one out of the bag and go out with a bang (only because I don't think she has the fanbase). Not sure which guy would fit her as a partner, tho.
