not really? How did the Motorola Atria fingerprint scanner do? Was it good? Obviously not. Apple has the best fingerprint scanner in the business, and that's not even debatable. Apple came along and did it right, so again, it became "all the rage".

Dude, people signed up for Apple Music because it was free to try, and built into the product that they already owned. People that preferred Spotify, cancelled their Apple Music account.

You sound ridiculous with stating that "Apple is merely riding on its brand appeal". Oh, it has nothing to do with customers being satisfied with their product? Case in point....Macbooks sell so well, despite being much more expensive than pc's. It's not because they obviously use better build quality materials, and the fact that Apple makes both the software and the hardware, and provides a level of customer service that pc makers don't offer, and that they work well? They only sell well because of their name? So by your logic, a company, who is one of the top 2 most successful companies in America by revenue, has made it this far, and for this long, not because they offer products that customers like, customers blindly keep purchasing their products, some which are much more expensive than the competition, all because of brand-loyalty? Right

So you are saying that Apple "brainwashes" customers through advertising, but Samsung does not? So again, people who seem to purchase and be happy with Apple products are doing it because of strong "brainwashing", instead of maybe they actually like the product? Oh and you called your statement a "fact". Then you listed YOUR opinion and why you don't like Apple products. So because you like Android more, thus android is better, regardless of numbers/stats, that show a certain amount of other people who choose Apple......because they don't really like Apple more, Apple "brainwashed" them. Maybe that's how we should look at any company who advertises and performs well. That company only does well because of "brainwashing", yeah that sounds more likely than their repeat customers and others actually liking their products.

Articles like this are pretty pathetic to me. I'm a customer of both android and apple, but why can't we give credit where credit is due? You see Apple's success, and it can't possibly be due to them producing and offering great products, and customers actually liking their products, instead comments like this are made, "If there was ever a company that could convince someone to shell out extra money for a turd wrapped in tinfoil, it’s Apple. "

Listen Apple was around BEFORE android, and their products have been around longer. If people didn't like their products, I doubt they would just continue to blindly spend money on them, especially at such high prices. Should we think that Android sales so well because of customer being stupid, or only buying into marketing? Or should we believe that Android is the world-wide market leader because people just seem to like it? Show some kind of class, smh.
