The only comfort I can take is I never promised any kind of accord or alliance, unlike so many of these rogues who whispered platitudes while measuring everyone up for a coffin. Yes, that's it, now back in the box you go, twisted shackles of remorse...

Re:

Someone sets you up... then you have to wait 12-18 hours for the initial stab to play out, and then the consequences of said stabbage will resound for another 3-7 days. Someone can knock your legs out from under you, but you still gotta keep going - potentially now without any chance of winning - for a good long time yet.

A big betrayal in Game of Thrones can end the game that turn. In Subterfuge, you just get turned into a walking corpse (or at least it may feel that way, comebacks are definitely possible).

Re: Tips for running a Tournament

Oh yeah, *all* the cards from the Core set, IDs at all. Then when you actually need to ETR, pay 1. So if you know the corp is sitting on one/two Scorched Earth and then see that SEA Source, a runner can safely dig for Plascrete/Decoy/whatever without being at risk.

Now, the corporation might be scoring agendas at the time and they can always setup a Breaking News to give the tags, but especially against Weyland, once you see that SEA Source, you can go find your emergency gear safely.

Re: The World Changed. Ninja is unabashedly a stealth game, no question. Obviously it shares the style and fluid animation we developed working on Shank (which is basically all one can see from the screenshots), but the gameplay is very different. Ninja and Shank 2 were actually developed by mostly separate teams, working in parallel.

I talked about this on Giant Bomb recently if you want to check that out: http://www.giantbomb.com/qu...

But I'm glad you liked Shank 1/2, hopefully you'll find things to groove on in Ninja too!
