"How Flipkart got 500,000+ app installs in 5 months" - well after reading this I still don't know - just says "Glispa claims that gNative helped acquire over 500,000 users in five months" - HOW?

Throw away your Livescribe (I did) and use the Notability app on iPads and Mac...

...flawless handwriting with any stylus (works really well with Adonit Jot Pro) PLUS audio recording sync'ed to your handwriting. Couldn't live without it. No need for special paper, special pen, charging, uploading, etc etc.

Is the integration one way only (tasks sucked into MeisterTask, and then live their own life) ?

...or if I update a task in MeisterTask, does it's new status show up in the original mindmap (so for eg I can see it is now completed)

Maybe it's just me, but at a quick glance I can overlook that a folder is closed...

-be great if closed folders had a slightly darker color(fill), so that they standout more clearly as closed...

Will the folders be hierarchical?

I have zillions of lists, and in ToDoist I can organise them in hierarchical projects down to four levels.

Can't live without this - would be thrilled to see hierarchical Folders in Wunderlist - I would swap back to Wunderlist in a flash...

Hi Matthew glad you asked!

I get beautiful writing using the Adonit Jot Pro stylus for $28. It's a passive pen (no bluetooth, no batteries!) and works perfectly.

That said, I've been able to write nearly as well with plain old nobbly rubber tip stylus, and even once took notes thru a whole conference using my fingertip when I'd forgotten my stylus - with a little bit of practice one can write quite well with one's finger, albeit a bit more slowly

If you want to see an app that could really drive iPad usage, look at Notability. This app would have made me buy an iPad if I didn't already own one - it lets me replace paper by taking all my handwritten notes flawlessly on the iPad - WITH SYNCHRONISED AUDIO. So I can touch a point in my notes, and hear the discussion from that point onwards - invaluable for when you can't quite follow what you wrote.

This app has changed my life - no paper to carry around, all my notes at my fingertips with audio, same app on Mac for playback there as well - I can't tell what a difference this makes for someone who spends hours in mentoring sessions.

So it's not surprising to see it is the top Productivity app in the App Store, and that Apple is promoting it - this app really could drive iPad sales as people discover the how great it is to have all your notes on the iPad.

THEN, once you get to this point, you want SPLIT-SCREEN on the iPad - so I can have my notes open in one screen, and my mindmapping programme (MindMeister) in one next to it, as I summarise my handwritten notes into mindmaps. And if Apple were to support THAT, then everyone who uses it would want bigger iPad displays, if they're working in split screens side-by-side...

I hate articles like this.

It wastes people's time to review books that are not released yet. Do you seriously think people reading this article are going to diarise to go and look at these books again months later after they've been released.

The NYT does this all the time too - glowing review of book, go to Amazon - can't buy it because it's not released yet!!! irritating!!!

Please only review books that are available!
