Netflix isn't a charity, and giving Mo'Nique big money, despite her having NO buzz at the moment is stupid. No rational business person would look at their analytics and say "Mo'Nique deserves ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS". In fact, odds are most would say "We might as well go to local comedy clubs and find some new talent, odds are we'll draw more from them than we would by paying Mo'Nique.

I can't help but laugh at anyone who thinks that Mo'Nique is anywhere near right. She isn't getting paid because people are conspiring against her, she's not getting paid because she's a has been comedianne that hasn't ever shown the ability to draw flies on her own. Amy Schumer isn't funny, she's a plagiarist, but she has shown the ability to draw HUGE crowds for her "Comedy". Basic white chicks for whatever reason love her, and they go out of their way to spend money to watch her perform. Mo'Nique on the other hand has never, EVER drawn big numbers by herself.

Chris Rock has drawn huge numbers for damn near THREE decades. Dave Chappelle has drawn HUGE numbers, even before Chappelle Show hit the airwaves. There's a reason why Netflix, or any other streaming service would want them. They have leverage, they are so successful they can turn down gigs. Mo'Nique isn't in that class. In fact, outside of Wanda Sykes(Who could only dream of putting up the numbers people like Rock, Hart, Pryor,Murphy and other comedy big wigs have) there aren't many black female comedians that have mainstream appeal. Most don't. They are mostly niche acts, and their niche is incredibly small.

Most BM couldn't care less about who is plowing Rihanna, or any other black celebrity. We don't care because most intelligent BM understand that we can't control the actions of others, and we don't own BW. Remember, black men aren't running around screaming "Your daddy is black", mostly because most of us aren't desperate to have the approval of others. Remember, it's BW who consistently threaten to boycott artists for not dating inside the race, it's BW that throw hissy fits when a male celebrity even mentions that he has dated non-black women. Black men still loved Janet Jackson throughout her prime when it was known that she was married to a non-black man. We still love Serena(Even though we wish she would go natural up top), and I doubt that Rihanna's male fanbase will desert her.

What is truly sad is that black women are the first to reach for the color based insults, proving that they themselves have a complex about color. Go ask any black person, who was the first person who made fun of your skin color. Most will say that not only was it a black person, in a lot of cases, it was a black woman. When "Crispy" is the first insult tossed out when someone holds a differing opinion, you are telling the world that anyone black should do whatever it takes to ensure that their children are mixed. You are making it clear that being black, and having African features is deserving of mockery. That's hardly the message you want to be putting out there. Then again, as we've seen time and time again, BW love the products of interracial dating/relationships, they just don't want to see BM do it.

The fact that we have grown men taking the side of an organization too stupid to get their crap together is dismaying to say the least. United was dead wrong on this one, and their lack of common sense is all to familiar to anyone unfortunate enough to deal with Corporate America. United could have easily sent their staff members on a different flight with another company. They could have RENTED A CAR for the staff, they could have done a multitude of things and avoided this PR firestorm. They didn't. Why? Because they know that the typical American is too brainwashed to think. No company has the right to do this to a paying customer, I don't give a damn what is printed on the ticket.

I wouldn't send my child to an inner-city school, knowing full well that a ton of those kids aren't getting the support at home from their parents. Frankly, a lot of those kids are there just because it's state sponsored child care. Just because people believe civil rights and equality under the law should apply to all doesn't mean they should send their kids to school with hood cats that don't want to be there.

Why am I not shocked that Leslie Jones would threaten violence as her first resort? Of course she would, that's a lot of black women's MO. This should also be a lesson to anyone dealing with these irrational, overly violent alleged progressives: No matter what you do, or say, they will never be happy. State that you support BLM(Which you shouldn't that organization is a joke and an embarrassment), they will have a problem with you, merely because of your skin color and lifestyle. State that you don't support BLM, you're a racist. Don't try to appease people that get mad that people move into a neighborhood and fix it up, when the damn residents of that area wouldn't do diddly squat to save the neighborhood in the first place. The reason gentrification happens is that WE allow our neighborhoods to go to pot. WE don't invest in our own communities, choosing to do stupid crap like spend on stupid material possessions like rims, Jordans and Gucci. If Black people actually took our spending power and applied it to things that matter, we'd be able to do some great things, but that isn't happening. We're the only race in education is a dirty word, but going to prison is a badge of honor. Our culture is toxic and people like Ms. Jones are part of the problem, not the solution.

Vaccinations are a medical procedure, there's a small chance that an adverse reaction will happen. There's people who have reactions after being given an IV, and DIE. There's people who are allergic to Penicillin, and don't find out until their first hospital visit. People fail to understand that medicine, like all science isn't infallible, and when one is dealing with human beings unfortunate things can happen. Think about the following: MILLIONS of measles vaccines are administered every year, yet there's only 108 documented cases of people dying because of said vaccine, and even then, linked, and directly causing are two different things.

No one should vote for a candidate they don't believe in, just because the alternative is less appealing. People that don't support Hillary have their reasons, and they shouldn't be guilt tripped into voting for her. Maybe the DNC should have thought about the fallout before they foisted Mrs. Clinton on the electorate, knowing full well that an overwhelming majority of Democrats found her to be untrustworthy, and lacking in progressive credentials. If people want to vote third party, if they don't want to vote at all, that's their right, and they don't have to explain themselves to you. Bernie supporters have a legit gripe, and your portrayal of them as babies is unfair and incorrect. Their candidate didn't get a fair shot, and it's obvious that people at the DNC crossed the line, and acted as an arm of the Clinton campaign, instead of as an unbiased middleman. Fear tactics have no place in this society, and it's beyond shameful that any citizen would belittle someone for exercising their right to vote in a responsible fashion.

A vote for Jill Stein, Gary Johnson or any other candidate is a vote for that one candidate, no one else. It's simple math.

Chaz,the concept of freedom of speech ends when one threatens another. You are free to say it, but there will be consequences, including criminal charges. Making a threat over twitter is no different than calling someone over the phone and making the same threat. In fact, it's probably worse, because there is physical evidence somewhere(if it did happen). That said, Valenti has shown herself to be reckless with the truth, and an enemy to freedom, so I'm less likely to take her claims seriously.

That doesn't mean Valenti is lying, but one should be skeptical of her claims I find it hard to believe in a world in which damn near everything is recorded, that there isn't ONE screenshot of this alleged act(You'd think that either Valenti, or her thousands of followers would have saved a record). If she is lying, it wouldn't be the first time a feminist lied in order to further a twisted agenda. Remember UVa, remember Lena Dunham's book? Hey, at least it's a tax writeoff for the studio. I wouldn't be shocked if that was the entire point of this enterprise. They get feminist brownie points, while also padding their bottom line. It was a low risk, high reward move. Either the movie is wildly successful, and they bank, or it's a crapfest and they get to write it off. Either way, the studio looks good in the eyes of feminists and white knights, while also benefiting financially. Frankly, I'm shocked that this movie survived the first screening, the preview stunk. If a preview is lousy, that means the movie is going to be even worse.

The freedom to say whatever you choose, as long as you aren't inciting violence or panic is part of the foundation of this country. You can't have a true democracy, if different opinions are consistently silenced by the mob. Controversial speakers should be encouraged to speak, for it is from those speakers that long held beliefs are challenged and questioned. I hate to point this out to the denizens of "Safe Spaces" nation, but the world doesn't give a darn about your feelings. It's unacceptable for any institution of higher learning to limit speech on campus, because true education can't happen if students are never asked to not only understand their beliefs, but defend them. We've come a long way from the day of debating societies, and it's a shame that instead of attempting to understand differing viewpoints, we just shut them out, choosing to stay in our own little bubbles.

Of course fraternity parties are what they are. If it's such an unpleasant scene for you, don't go. This piece does have the ring of truth, but it also comes off as a petty hit piece. The frats are free to throw the parties that they want, and the parties they throw are by all intents and purposes effective. They want to be around a lot of willing women, so non affiliated men aren't welcome. The Greek system is about conformity to an extent, so of course the women will be dressed alike. That said, there's more to the scene than the typical frat house kegger. It's on you as a Wildcat to find your niche.

Journalism attracts those who tend to lean that way, just like Hedge Fund managers are usually right wing to a man. Once upon a time, journalists were out seeking truth,or at the least interesting stories. Journalism was one of the few places in which one could explore, and not be accountable to anyone. Hence why a ton of lefties drifted that way(Academia with tenure has a similar situation). The problem is that once news became commercialized, it became about eyeballs, truth went out the window, and it became about appealing to a gang. Liberal journalists appeal to the left, conservative journalists appeal to the right. It's all bullshit, and it's all bad for you.
