Hope you and yours are having a beautiful day! Just wanted to say hiya, and thanks again for everything. My life is coming together swell in great part thanks to your inspiration and this awesome blog!

I am alive and well in Boulder, Colorado, and raw foods seems very accepted here, there seem to be a few raw-foodists too-actually, mayhaps quite a few! Everthing is wonderful for me right now, and though I am still getting my life together in ways, things are going splendidly.

You take care, Anthony! You are an angel. Thanks for all the inspiration you so selflessly offer all.

i had a beautyfull friday the 13th! one of the most beautyfull days i have had in months! :) didn't even completely dawn on me that it was fri. the 13th 'til i saw this here, teehee... my grandma used to be so superstitious about this day, she wouldn't even leave home to go to her office...spent the whole day inside. goodness gracious. :-p

P.S. The movie, "Into the Wild" really inspired me, too, in this regard. (Just, um, don't run off to some remote place like Alaska, eat a wild plant that you have misidentified and die like he did, eh.)

I noted in your post, Beki, your reference to grassroots movements. (Your post was awesome, by the way! Thanks! :0)) I just wanted to let y'all know that I first heard the term "direct action" from, ahem, some "anarchist" friends. I put that word in quotations like that because (please note here that I am not trying to convert) anarchist thought isn't what most seem to think it is-not at all, actually. Yeah, I was shocked to find out that it is not. (Please note that I do not identify myself as an anarchist-I just like a lot of their philosophies, like Direct Action, the DIY ethic, etc.) That having been said, here are some links on direct action if anyone is interested:

Anthony, will you allow me to post this here? (Please know that I understand and respect your decision if you don't care for it to be posted here.) I am promoting my friend's funny first film entitled, "Macrobe: The Man Who Thought He Could Make People Poop In Their Pants". I am not trying to sell anything, the film is free and will be released on YouTube after February 6th sometime. (It is not a professional film, it was a learning project for my friend.) The film itself is, if I am remembering correctly, about a young man trying to resolve childhood issues. However, the theme song (as you can hear playing in the background of the preview to the film) is very politically related and, I feel, related to this post on some level. I think it is way funny. What do you think? That is my friend singing the theme song, too...he's a musician. He has an interesting mind on him so the film will be interesting...my friend is quite the philosopher and is hilarious as hell. I will send you the link when the film comes out if you are interested, it is 20 minutos in length. Here is the link to the preview for the premiere at the UC Theatre at the University of Montana:

i really like how you say "created 9/11". i am glad that i can come here and read things like this and talk to my friends here in missoula about these types of "alternative" views. i so appreciate/love this blog, it's so "radical" in the most wondrous way-a very tasteful way. i think each post's cup certainly does runneth over with truth. i was talking to my mom today on the phone. she was telling me about how horrible those terrorists were that crashed those planes. she doesn't even want me to travel outside of the states because she honestly thinks that any other country is dangerous-except maybe canada. (thankfully, i am not one to play into others' opinions of what i should do, unless i feel moved to do such in my own heart. i just have to take great measures to encourage her not to worry about me *too much. she worries a bunch about me.) i'm like "wtf?" in my mind quite often when chatting with her (though i love her dearly, please don't get me wrong), though i can also put myself in her shoes and can understand why she thinks what she does...understand (re: it is not her fault she has been subjected to brainwashing by the media and all around her who seem to believe all they see on that box) and agree to disagree. (i kinda' felt like vomiting when my mom made that comment about the planes. i think my mom, like many others in texas [my home state] [thank god for austin] in general believe much of the propaganda they hear w/out questioning it...at least, this is my view and has been my experience.) i felt such a world away. (my mom voted for mccain-my family is *very conservative, redneck-style. [oh, dear. that is in part why i ran away to montana's version of austin-missoula! ha. :-p] i am the black [or shall we say white] sheep of mi fam and like it that way! i hope my expressing myself in this way doesn't sound too mean, that is not my intention-i am merely being open as to my thought processes.) my mom did love the fact, however, that obama said no to the lobbyists! gosh, those lobbyists will stop at nothing, they are such litl' farts. :-p i hope obama nipped that a one in the bud. i think so (hope so). :0)

wow! first day in office and obama lets the lobbyists know that gift giving to those in the administration is strictly against the rules! there was something else, too, in regards the lobbyists. anyhoo, dude, he seems *way on the ball the first day. he intends to have us out of iraq in the next 16 mths.! (though i wish it was sooner.) i've never really been excited about politics before, but i kinda' am as of late! yay! his priorities of the day were the economy and iraq. he is closing down guantanamo too! (um, did i spell that right, pardon.) well, y'all may have read that all already...if so, please pardon the reiteration, but i'm just sooo excited! woo hoo! obama's looks so healthy, too... I wonder if he knows about raw? wouldn't it be cool if our president adopted a primarily raw diet? wow, that would be so cool. they're already talking about michelle's fashion. i think it would be cool if the next thing that is "all the rage" is the president's newly adopted diet! okay. maybe i'm dreaming... pardon mi rambles. have a beautyfull day! :0)
