This is an obstacle I come across again and again.

If it's not someone instantly noticing massive glass aimed their way (never positive) it's having to lug and stow the gear whenever I enter a store, bus, or equally confining location. Candid shots of friends? Forget it.

I've been carrying a point-and-shoot (Canon SD 850is) with me just about everywhere since getting my dSLR and have been thrilled with the results. I'd say 90 percent of the shots I'm actually happy with came from the less conspicuous device. Eventually I'll grab an Eye-Fi card and streamline even more.

Good write up, put words to a topic I'm sure many of us feel conflicted about.

Yeah, him and Erik Larson and McFarlane... pretty much everything Image put out was crap but I bought tons of Savage Dragon, Spawn, Youngblood, Brigade... I never did understand all the extra lines the article mentions.

I look back and wish I had used the money from cutting lawns in a more practical manner.

'Fucking awful' is just the tip of the iceberg and guys like him were a big reason why comics were not taken seriously until perhaps the early 90's.

Yeah, the article brings up much more than the Luke/Leia gross factor.

Interesting to see how another country handles it, seeing as here in the US it's almost all state-driven legislature that dictates whether one such as myself will ever have access to that kind of of info.

Or even medical records.

You should totally add the second and third parts of the code, which displays whether or not each entry has comments or not.

I had to add the link after each type of post (audio, text, vid, etc) for it to show up properly.
