Intriguing; those were years when I actually read the Lampoon, and for the most part I didn't think they were that strong. Though some would claim I am biased, and they would surely be correct.

Yeah. There was some talk of trying it in SF, but I don't know if it's going anywhere. Most other countries don't have our deeply ingrained culture of bike theft.

That's not a scooter -- it's one of the public bikes from the Paris municipal bike program that started in the summer of 2007. You subscribe (the minimum is either 3 or 6 months) and get a swipe card that lets you check out a bike at one of many bike lockups around the city, and return it anywhere else.

It's a pretty sweet program, actually. Although, it makes the alleys a little more dangerous late at night, since everyone on them is smashed.

I think a lot of it is that it's a more mellow trailer. Everything Snyder does seems to be this slow-motion hysteria, like there's flashing text at the bottom of the screen that says CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW FUCKING EPIC THIS IS? This trailer is a little less bombastic.

Maybe the teen version needs to be made twice. Once with Cera/Hill, and once with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Amanda Seyfried, and some other guy.

Also, I'm worried that Ed Westwicke would get typecast as Gatsby. Maybe this is a bad idea.
