“The rumor is that he’s 6 % black”!!LOL You’re basing your statement off of a rumor!! Wow!! He identifies himself as a black man!! I didn’t make that up, he has said it over and over again!! He gets his skin color from his father & mother!! If his father were white, I’m sure his skin wouldn’t be as dark!!
For the first time in this country’s history, we have a president that identifies with us!! He is one of us and for that I’m thankful!!

I have lived on the east coast, west coast and currently residing in the South. I have visited museums in each place and I’ve never seen anything like what has been described here. I watch the news daily and I haven’t seen anything like this. Is there a particular channel or museum I need to see that will show these things? If so, please let me know. I think it’s okay to make fun of our president, whoever he may be at the time. However, I don’t think it’s okay to feed into racist stereotypes, which is what the designer of this t-shirt has done. We are over-loaded with images of black men arrested for gun-related violent crimes on our local news stations daily!! This feeds into the “violent black man” stereotype!! It is not okay to portray our president, the leader of the country in that light……And when/where are people of color stereotyping and insulting white people? I would like to know what channel that is on!!

President Obama stated himself that he is a black man. Also, the lawmakers during Jim Crow/ Segregation (all white) made the rule stating that if you had at least 1/5th of black blood in you, then you're black!! We didn't make the rules, we just follow them!!

I have never seen Jesus Christ and/or the Virgin Mary urinated on or with feces on paintings!! I'm no "Bible thumper" but I would be more outraged than I am over the Obama shirt!! I'd be APPALLED & ENRAGED!!! I'm sure if the Pastor had seen something like that he would be outraged!! As a matter of fact, where are these disgraced pictures of Jesus and Mary? I'd be more than happy to bring that up to a major organization that will definitely see that those things are removed!!!

“America the Beautiful” President Obama is a US citizen. Whether he was born in Hawaii or Indonesia, while his mother was studying/working abroad, he is still an American Citizen. Let’s say for example, there’s a student (a US citizen) who studies abroad for 4-5 years in Italy and gives birth while abroad. Is that student no longer an American citizen? Is the offspring not an American citizen? Gimme a break!! OBAMA IS THE PRESIDENT FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS!! GET OVER IT!!!

The t-shirt is extremely offensive and disrespectful. We have seen black men arrested for violent/gun related crimes daily on local news stations across the country. Why would someone want to show President Obama in that same light??? It continues to perpetuate the stereotypical propaganda much of the racism against blacks (with an emphasis on black men) is based upon. While I must agree that it’s okay to make fun of our President, this is not funny!!! This reinforces the violent black man stereotype!! We have more than enough black men being shown with handguns or as violent criminals in our society. Why would we show our President this way? Obama has just become our President; however he has been a black man his entire life!! I’m sure he would disagree with an image of himself with a gun on the front of a t-shirt.
