I should have been in bed much earlier last night, but kept convincing myself that I needed to stay up to watch the relay.  As the husband slept soundly next to me on our couch, I watched with anxious anticipation.  Phelps got himself into a decent position.  Weber-Gale did pretty well in the 2nd spot.  Jones started to give up a bit of ground in the 3rd spot.  Even through Lezak's first 50 it appeared that he'd have no chance to catch Bernard. We LOVED it.
