1. ocn and resi are unrelated fundamentally
2. ocn is buying up serviccing platforms and RESI is buying up foreclosed loans.
3. i chose resi as a name for income oriented investors (it became a vehicle for growth investors!)

I am not saying that the Fed cant stimulate the economy nor that easing hasnt improved the econmy's stead from the bottom of the recession.
I am saying that QE 1 and 2 was necessarry and effective.
But since then ZIRP and QEs have lost their effectiveness.
A straw man argument means that I have exaggerated, misrepresented or just completely fabricated the relationship between domestic growth and the Fed's policies.

i write thousands of words a day. what i meant was that the fed's policy is losing its effectiveness - though it was intitially necessary back in 2009-10.
i try my best, lets just drop it. no need to battle about it, imho. dougie
