I got to live the decline of American and Canadian Production in the Hi tech sector and the destruction of our industry and theft of IP. All easily attributed to Political and big business greed and dealing with a country that had decided once turning to Communism to embark on a philosophy of world domination.

BTW...Your "facts" are off on the size of China VS North America by about a factor of almost 3.

China land mass = 9.597 million km²
USA = 9.834 million km²
Canada =9.985 million km²
Mexico = 1.973 million km

hmmm...doesn't look larger with those numbers

you are of course entitled your opinion...

I'm a big believer and advocate for freedom of speech and education and learning but as soon as someone starts spouting off how they are superior in what they know and they know more than I could with 20 years life experience it immediately raises a red flag. Trying to then overwhelm someone with facts that are easily proved wrong, it raises a few questions like where is your stance on a free Tibet? How do you feel about the 2 million people of the 7.5 million living in Hong Kong protesting the mainland trying to enforce their rules over Hong Kongs freedom?

You have of course deflected my point earlier regarding Xinjiang detention camps for Muslims but then I have also come to expect these things in these types of forums...is China really changing Eurasia for the better for those Muslims and the Christians? or is it for the betterment of China???? Hmmmm...so they are allowed nationalism but in the west it's evil??? Do you not consider those individuals in the camp people living in Eurasia??? or is that million and the people 7.5 million in Hong Kong or the slightly more then 3.1 million in Tibet trumped by the China 1.4 billion?

This again of course really ignores the real problem on the planet and it really boils down to the fact there has not been a major pandemic or extinction event in human history for 5-6 decades and we are living for the most part in an age of wonder.... because of our technology and advances in health care and medical knowledge our population has exploded world wide and the West is really the only place talking about or actually reducing birth rates to below replacement numbers....which will lead to the death of Western society in another generation just by the shear numbers involved...part of what you were trying to say above I think about numbers and insignificance but in a more real world tangible situation...

Re: The Death Of Europe, With Douglas Murray

oh I don't want to over simplify anything... I live in Vancouver Canada and many of the Chinese leaving China are here... they will confirm the communist style government and state of China and human rights...it's why they got out of China first and then Hong Kong to get here... I have to take their stories at face value because I personally have not been there but I have friends that have been to Hong Kong before 1999, since, and now more recently...

there is stuff that happens globally that unless you have a VPN and move your search engines around you will never find out about these things...China isn't the only empire controlling the internet since the changing of the laws on who controls the flow of "free" information. As for Muslims and their plight...I'm more concerned with the more extremeist branch of the religion... most are generally like everyone else...want a better life for their families and want a safe place to live...food on the table, clean water.... one-on-one most people are the same in their core, knowing the difference between right and wrong... the challenge comes when you start trying to blend people into an existing society they have nothing in common with and they don't go into a melting pot...forming a common bond. Multiculturalism is great on paper...but mass migration into nations where you don't follow the same underlying belief systems and where you bring your own problems with you which you may be fleeing is a major oops in the equation... And I find no one is willing to address this because it's non-PC... I can't tell you how many times I point this out and get called a racist or xenophobe for pointing out something that should be common sense...

Re: The Death Of Europe, With Douglas Murray

perhaps you should read up on

Xinjiang detention camps for Muslims

Re: The Death Of Europe, With Douglas Murray

so you are okay with a country that's murdering political opposition for organ donation, "reprogramming" Muslims and Christians in Camps, and the only major communist country that can stand up and face down freedom...interesting... Thanks to mega wealth and corrupted political leaders who were never questioned in the last 30+ years. We were warned about this by the President of the USA after WW2 who saw the military economic machine and monetarily motivated agendas for regime change philosophy's that were grinding up the best of our youth in endless wars while protecting the free speech of radicals who subverted the Western values system one tiny step at a time over 5-6 deacades playing the long game from the shadows. Buying up influence or eliminating political resistance. As an example of this...The numbers in the climate agenda would suggest to do so much that is impossible, would require we go back to the 1930's to meet the 2050 targets in the industrial world.... nothing will result in the faster collapse of all industrial society and the greatest ability to generate wealth and release new human potential faster while then allowing the rise and domination of the world by someone that's not playing by the same rules... like say communist China???...and China is developing and promoting this collapse using greed to get the Leaders and industry to sell out... because with the destruction of God in our belief systems, destruction of the traditional family unit, lack of integrity and values system based on christian values of don't lie, cheat, murder or steal, what is the future of the West?

Re: MSM, Dems Renew Trump Sex Accusations Amid Russia Fake News Fails » Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

https://youtu.be/bZ0SRgh3X9Q one of my favorites from the Muppets

Re: Kathy Shaidle: I want Ford to run again. The reason the Leftards want him out is because he rubs their noses and the noses of many others in there entitlement attitudes in the dirt and Denys them access to the trough they have been used to for far too many years at the expense of everyday working people.

I'm by no means an advocate of drug use but I do know people whom at times have been known to take a puff. Why is it when Ford said everyone should take a blood test that no one stepped forward to call his bluff? There's far more going on in the back ground then is being reported on here...don't kid yourself. Simply Google "Yellow Media" and you'll perhaps get a better understanding.

Re: Throwing Gasoline on the Senate Expense Fire

Here's the thing MaggieBear,
If the end result is we trash the senate, which is an overwhelming concern everywhere west of Quebec, is anyone really going to care if he did or didn't know. As many articles have stated the rules are not really all that clear. I think it would be even more telling if they went back and audited every senate member back into the 80's. If you are really all that concerned with corruption and entitlement mentality where would you stand on that? As for Harper not knowing or being involved in these specifics I find it very easy to believe. Where would the PM have the time with his travel schedule, all the Free trade agreements he's securing, and maintaining the strongest economy in the G8 nations...

Here's a more telling question for you on how screwed up our economic and political system is today... Can you even name more then 3 senate members in your own province? you're doing better then 95% of Canadians if you can. Yet we're paying for their services.??? What do they really do except hold back the gov't from moving too fast to effect change...

Re: Throwing Gasoline on the Senate Expense Fire

well Jen S, no one in a majority really cares about public opinion in a non election year. Popularity only maters in the election year with current voter memory and turn out as low as it has been. Just look at the Martin/Cretin years for reference

Re: Throwing Gasoline on the Senate Expense Fire

LOL... Well,... if you really want to reform the senate but have no current legal means to access it without reopening the constitution, using the media and opposition parties to create what will amount to a non scandal and no actual criminal charges that can stick seems like a good way to start. From that you can have a national referendum that you can get everyone in Canada to be onside with Senate reform and you can reopen the constitution on that matter. I think in 20 years we'll see a much bigger picture and see a strategic move here that no one could see in the middle of the mess

Re: Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special - what we know so far

actually...admitance was limited to the first 6500 people in line so not even all of comic con could get in...not even close...

Re: Closing The Silence

The Silence are Vashda Nerada who have evolved in the silent Library having been left behind by the doctor on a world with the only food being themselves and the energy of the mega computer in the core of the library planet. There's no such thing as common sense anymore. Let's just park all the cars and ride bikes. The problem really is that someone didn't think this through... what is this going to do to air quality? Traffic congestion? Road Rage? Cost or transported goods?

Mandatory drivers education would be a far better solution. Re-testing for road tests to upgrade each phase of the "L", " N", and full license. And manditory re-cert every 8-10 years after the license is issued... This would help identify people who are problem drivers and potentially force them back through the training to correct poor skills.

Super Car's over say 400 hp+ should have a completely different course and License cert that would be like the separate class 6 for Motor cycle...perhaps a class S for Sport Car...

I'm still trying to figure out the whole bike lane thing on major car routes when there are secondary streets and less traveled roads the bikes could easily be on... and why are they not placing the bikes lanes on the inside of the concrete barriers next to pedestrians rather then in car traffic? Most Bike/Car accidents end a life... last I checked a lot fewer Bike/pedestrian accidents end with a fatality...

BTW... the other thing that needs to be closed off is being able to insure a vehicle you are not licensed to drive... With a Class 5 License did you know ICBC will allow and You can street insure a Motorcycle without having a Class 6 License ...how stupid is that???

Re: Should the speed limit in B.C. be 40 km/h? Really???

Someone with no experience driving to begin with has no justification to be behind the wheel of a $80k+ automobile with 500hp. I wouldn't put my 7 year old on a CBR600 and he has more experience riding a bicycle then a new driver has driving a car... Car's kill people... Car vs Ped = dead, Car vs Bike = Dead, Car vs Motorcycle = Dead or maimed, and finally car vs other car... 500 hp, no experence, probably excessive speed..= Dead or maimed for life. You are placing everyone they may encounter at risk. "L" and "N" should quite simply be horse power restricted or have to pay for a governer to be installed on the engine/transmission. If you can afford a 500hp car you can afford the modification...

You're supposed to be part of the Green generation... go get a Leaf or similar electric car and learn to drive... Once you have a job, some experience and understand responsibility, and can afford to buy your $80k car with something other than mommy and daddy's money You can go get your 500hp car and go wreck it on the Mission racetrack

Re: The Order of the Silence

what i wanna know is are they going to cast Timothy Dalton again as Rassilon

Re: The Order of the Silence

go back and watch season 1 in 2005..
