I just read a guy on NYC RnR who admonished us to once again not judge Conservatives by what their politicians do. Considering they're driving out all the moderates from the party and are trying like Hell to reclaim the Tom Sheltons; I gotta think it's fair to say that the GOP represents the paleoConservative banner pretty well.

I've looked for the Constitution Party's position on this Mr. Shelton and I can't find one. You might have better luck.

The report did no such thing Mr. Shelton. It states that white supremacists and violent anti government groups may hold those views, but it's the violence and racism that sets them apart from the mainstream. To misread it like you have tells me that you think the report is talking about you.

No Mr. Shelton. I'm not labeling you as a white supremacist or member of a violent anti government group. You did that all by yourself when you thought the DHS report was talking about you.

I have read the DHS report Mr. Shelton and yes it talks about some groups that are proLife. I invite you to review of the stories of Eric Rudolph or Paul Hill if you don't know the type DHS is talking about.

If you think it's necessary Mr. Shelton then sure, I reject and denounce groups like ELF and it's ideological brethren. They never spoke for me.

That's nice you completely ignored the results of the 2003 tax cut. That was about as pure test of trickle down economic theory as you could ask for Mr. Shelton. And it failed.

Um no...I didn't label myself a "violent anti-government extremist" Mr. Shelton. I was against specific government policies, but I didn't join a militia or a white supremacist group that practiced making bombs. Nor did I think I had common cause with the extreme left wing groups the DHS also reported on.

It's funny that you and the rest of the GOP think you have a common cause with "white supremacists" and violent anti-government groups. It's very telling Mr. Shelton.

I know tax cuts is the only tool Conservatives like Shelton here can think of. Earth to Shelton, adjusting tax rates is the weakest way to stimulate an economy. If what you wrote was actually true, our economy should have performed better after the 2003 tax cuts.

Well we were in a recession heading towards a depression. The key hallmark of a recession is reduced consumer demand. When the consumer demand is reduced, government needs to increase its demand by domestic spending to pick up the slack otherwise the producers-businesses will go under and we all lose our jobs.

This is basic Keynesian economics. This is how we got out of the Great Depression and how we will get out of the current mess.
