The Dodgers should sign this guyer before the Commish gives up on a team in London (a really bad idea) and relocate the Jags to Havana. The new Team could hold ST in Guantanamo :( Put another Team in the DR or or PR and then NCL could set up a Baseball Cruise!

JP, the Water Crisis in the Southwest (not just CA) is something that I Tweet about and worry about a lot. A report in March said that CA has about 10 months of water remaining, and only 1/3 of CA's water comes from CA, the balance from the Colorado River Lower Basin. More than 33 million people across Arizona, Southern California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Mexico depend on the Colorado River for their water supply. The distribution of CO River water was decided in the The Colorado River Compact of 1922, long before the population explosion in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, San Diego and South Orange County to note a few areas. NoCal gets it water from Mt. Shasta, the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite, and the Bureau of Reclamation. NoCal also sends a portion of the water they collect Southward via the Aqueduct that was featured in Chinatown (the Film).

With Frackers sucking water out of the water table and farm/ranch wells doing the same, the water future is bleak. but you are seeing how "What me worry" your new neighbors are. Colorado conserved water the last 2 years while those South and Southwest of us filled their swimming pools and watered their lawns and had 6 people in their house showering daily. Governor brown finally issued mandatory restrictions, but almost nobody to monitor compliance. Battles are breaking out in Coachella and 1 other SoCal locaion, a sign of things to come. Considering the contempt that SoCal is held in by NoCal and Colorado, I wouldn't be looking for help from either. Let the battles rage on. (Gary Beals@Fanatic Blue). Blocked.

When Apple sells an iPhone 6 for $600, as an example, do they get to claim the full purchase price immediately as revenue or do they have to spread out the revenue over the amount of time the buyer is paying for the phone? That question would also be relevant for all phone manufacturers.

Finally, if the temperatures in "The Tropics" (whatever that means) is momentarily near Seattle's, that's just more evidence of Global Climate Change, something that we who care about our Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren's ability to have a Planet Earth to occupy. "Something like a mass shooting"? Do 18 suicides daily, including Vets, qualify? If 18 students hanged themselves every day next week would that justify Jeff's take? Suicide is an act that frees the victims and puts those who loved them through five very lengthy Stages of Grief. I loved Robin's work but he has left the rest of us with an image of a rope slung over a beam. We need people who can make us laugh, now more than ever, and we've lost one of the greatest. I wish that Robin would have called Billy Crystal, or anybody who loved him.

You didn't mention that the Dodgers traded a young pitcher for DD because the kid was deemed to be "too frail" to last too long in The Show. The kid pitcher went on to win more than 200 MLB games with help from his leetle fren'. DD was useless as a Dodger. I still hate DD, even tho it was the GM' s fault.
Such is life for a Team Fan rather than a Sports Fan.

Is Zach Lee a complete bust? Teams don't ask for him in deals anymore and dude could be playing in the NFL after 2 yes at LSU. That $5M might start to look small, or I hope he saved the Dodgers'/money.
