Good. That place is a dump and attracts some of the worst drivers in New England - hopefully the flea market is forced to cease operations and the town cleanses that corner with fire.

So - are Dylan and the blonde morning newsreader roommates or are they using a set? Reason being - this is the same kitchen with the same old school phone in the background that the newsreader had when she was baking something the other day. Not that it matters :) Merry Christmas to all.

Yep - chalk it up as a lesson learned. The homeowners gambled and lost. It's too bad, but PSNH is not in the wrong here.

I gave the place a shot last weekend and was surprised at how good it was. I thought the gas pump island "canopy" looked pretty cheesy, but the food was really good. Good burgers and dogs probably the best fried fish we've had in town she's had yet. Ice cream prices are fair and portions are almost too big. Service was excellent - all the kids working there were all pleasant.

Wow - I just went through my print copy of The Derry News.

This story was buried under the police blotter section and received about two or three column inches - this federal bust was a lead story on NH TV and in the top three on Boston TV and is probably the biggest story to hit Derry since the ice storm and Pamela Smart, but our flagship news source chooses to bury it in their print copy.

I know a lot of people see the paper as a shill for the Derry Chamber of Commerce (whatever you do, don't print anything that would cast the town in a poor light - aside from harmless town council drama.) Luckily the Nutfield News saw fit to include this story in their paper and give a far more informative accounting of the event.

Advantage: The free paper.

I was once told - build a house next to railroad tracks and don't be surprised when someday a train comes rolling through - I guess the whole buying a house next to an easement for/by the power transmission company is pretty similar. It seems like the homeowners who bought there after the PSNH easement was established took a gamble and are losing.

Good riddance. Now that intersection will return to some sort of normalcy. Those white van crews were running scared - I saw a few of them aimlessly wandering around area parking lots this morning, like they were waiting something out. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot fewer out of state Maximas with mismatched doors in the coming weeks.
