This is so important because there is no one perfect diet/lifestyle strategy for all people! We may think we need one way....then somehow we stumble on to what works better for our body/mind/spirit. You help "open up the aperture" so more people can see more perspectives - and that, my friend is a gift to all your readers.

Re: Your New Years RawSolutions Are Here

I love the corn chowder - having it for lunch today!

Re: Dhrumil

way cool!

Re: JUICE-A-THON - Week 2

I know you will have a fabulous birthday weekend - doing what you love, and hanging with such lovely company!

I see more great things coming your way in the coming year!

Three cheers!

Re: LIVE & LEARN at 105degrees - Come to OKC on October 3rd

Pssssssss. Last time I checked Bush was living in Dallas enjoying his retirement while the current administration is enacting widespread expansion and legislation strengthening GMOs here and worldwide. It is "progressively" worsening every day.

"While the Obama Administration has certainly made several positive inroads during the first 100 days of office, from appointing organic champion Kathleen Merrigan to Undersecretary of Agriculutre and planting organic gardens at both the White House and USDA headquarters, the Administration has chosen to champion genetically engineered crops at home and abroad.

Upon returning from his recent visit to the G8 summit in Italy, Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack pledged to promote Big Biotech abroad as part of Presiden Obama’s foreign policy. Vilsack’s comments came on the heals of President Obama’s announcement that United States would “double support for agricultural development to over $1 billion so that we are giving people the tools they need to lift themselves out of poverty. … This is not just charity though. These are future markets for all countries, and future drivers of growth.” “Agriculture development,” from the Administration’s perspective means exporting the US’ toxic industrial agriculture model, with GENETICALLY ENGINEERED crops at the center. President Obama’s announcement coincided with the passage in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee of S. 384, the Global Food Security Act, which FORCES GENETIC ENGINEERING upon the world’s 1 billion subsistance farmers."

Re: Robin's Story

What a touching testimony to the power of God's natural foods and the support of a loving and learning community as you have set up in your project group. I think what you have brought up here gets to the very center of that little black hole buried deep inside which keeps each of us from reaching our true potential. Strongholds, guilt, blame, resentment....If one can strip away the layers and identify that core belief - only then can true, long lasting healing and growth occur. Bravo Penni and Lauren. God works in mysterious ways and the timing of this message is a blessing. Thank you.

Re: Fighting My Fat Demons

as always - your videos inspire and draw folks together. Rose - people are at different places in their journeys and choices. Penni's blog is name Real Food Tulsa. Its about a journey of healing with the help of the nutrition of real and living foods. Penni has contributed so much to the living foods community. She is a great educator as to the value of raw veganism as a dietary choice.
As to your concerns, - no one gets excited and changes their life by being beat over the head with angry dogma. Veganism, from my understanding, has a central core value of compassion - something which is lacking in your words. I applaud the choices you and your husband have made, and I hope you can find compassion for others as they make their individual choices as well. Its a journey my friend :)
