The post in question was criticising the irony of a Black man singing and smiling blissfully while around the corner, protests were underway against police violence. It IS funny that some didn't get that and made it about YOU as victimised whites, though. That's making you look more than a little foolish.

Regardless of that? The fact is your analogy is spot-on. The tradition has been trumped by the unfortunate smear of racism and hate and dehumanization. Just stop. The performance traditions of dead people aren't more important than the reality of actual people actually living today.

This is not at all helpful for a single person or a couple. It is always cheaper for me to grab a sandwich and a salad than to make food from scratch.

It is incredibly rare to find thoughtful writing on BDSM from a dominant point of view that deals frankly with the emotional process without veering into a self-aggrandizing or faux self-effacing mode.

I especially was moved to see this observation:

"Submission without Strength is dangerous, it can reinforce feelings that are already twisted, and bypass limits which should not be passed."

Prased so succinctly and outside of the tried, tired platitudes we so often see on BDSM. The whole "Submissives are not doormats" thing is fine and dandy, but this makes a far, far better case for the delicate symbiosis that a BDSM-based relationship can engender.

If this IS fake, they are going through a lot to support a joke. I called the number on the site, and they called me back, leaving a message saying that I could place an order for a minimum of 2 boxes of shells. I live in San Francisco and have never hunted. Well, not for fowl. So, my thinking is that either these guys are SUPER dedicated to their prank, or have the bead (pun intended) on a new way to slaughter and season simultaneously.
