What would be the price for this 3-d printer in 6 months time or by next Christmas do you think? If not less than 30% cheaper then Im not sure it's worth waiting. I already have a lot of CAD and 3D designing experience so have a few ideas.

Having lived in Salisbury during my teens I was never that much into gardening as you could imagine. Now in my later years and having visited parts of Salisbury again (Burcombe) I can tell you, it is a true gardeners paradise and there are some stunning front lawns. Good on you for your work and sorry to hear about Horatio he sounded like a very find character. But I got very inspired by some of the gardens to put a gazebo in mine I think I got one from gazebokings.com in the end and have been happy with it since.

That is some moving story. I can presume it's not true but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. When I go, I want to be made into a gazebo like on gazebokings.com so that people can sit in me for years to come.

I love how this game has evolved. And I guess you are right. I don't think EA had any idea it would get to be as big as it has become. But that's the story with many games like this. These garden games are great fun for all ages.

Looks like it's full for the year now Alex. Hopefully they will do this again next year. I was hoping to get some help with building a garden gazebo. Seen some on gazebokings.com I think it was that looked really nice but am not sure if that's something they would give help with even though it would practically be a communal gazebo with what my neighbors are like!.

Is this a flash or unity 3d game? Or is it that my flash or unity web player plugin has crashed and died? Don't you just have having to close your reboot your browser to fix it. Hope was a game found on unitygame3d.com similar to this but of course in 3D Unity platform.

Excellent post. I have a game called "Horn" made with Unreal Engine for the iPhone. Its like having a full blown PC version in your pocket. I'd like to see a move more to Unity 3D games because of the possibilities it has that you just can't do with Flash games. Even though Flash has hardware support now and may be available on Apple devices which just happens to own most of the mobile games market. But those free online Unity 3D games are getting better some on unitygame3d.com was playing as good example so hope to see more like that for both desktop and mobile users.

Ubisoft are one of the best game makers. Hope they expand to online Unity 3D games like unitygame3d.com has that can play on desktop and mobile devices for next gen 3D gaming.

My friend has it and is encouraging me to get it. I'm looking for a game to tie me over until the next Black Ops zombies is out. But wonder if this will be playable as a flash game or a unity 3d game? Think theres something like it on unitygame3d.com 3d robot control game or something similar I was playing the other day ;)

Great news for Tizen mobile users. What mobiles are these? I've been using a Linux Distro as a 2nd boot for experimenting and can see myself moving to it one day. I saw something about unity 3d games for linux users on unitygame3d.com I think so bright future ahead.

Thanks Mathew. You say flash died in 2007 but it hasnt died though. Flash games are still being developed and flash games devs are even starting to make flash games that can be played equally as well on both desktops and mobiles (those that can play flash). Also, there is now hardware GPU support for 3D so flash devs can tap into the hardware for more features and this has sparked a new era of flash games. There's some on uranusgames.com that are a perfect example of this. I personally think your comment of "flash died" is a little short sighted by yourself. Flash isn't dead. It's just that there are new kids on the block like HTML5 and Unity games to contend with. Flash will always be used for things like flash forms, web buttons etc. Love live flash! :)

Nice post Noel. It's amazing when you can see the evolution in games from a post like this. Lots of juicy information in it about the history as well. Thanks for the inspiration on AS3. Have only been learning it a couple of weeks so far and its seeming a daunting task so any inspiration I can find is a blessing. Will hopefully put my games on uranusgames.com when they are finished. :) Cheers!
