Slavery in the BDSM context is indeed roleplay. But I also argue that almost all relationship types are a form or roleplay. How is Playing the role of Master, Dominant or Lord any different than playing the role of Husband in a non BDSM setting? How is assuming the role of a wife different than a slave?

I've never concentrated my attention on the soles of the feet but I do occationally wack one in the course of a scene. I did do a terror scene with meg at kinky kollege where she was tied into one of those round cages you can only stand in and I bound her almost motionless. I tied one of her legs and foot outside the cage and used my marlin spike on her foot to cause pain and to "tickle". I guess I have done it a bit then..... Btw, I dont think meg cared for it. I had to opportunity at Kinky Kollege to participate in a public "golden shower" for a young lady. The thought of doing that to a total stranger was extremely exciting to me, then again, I am somewhat of a exhibitionist and love some public humiliation. I drank lots of water but ultimatly couldn't "pull the trigger" so to speak. I think it was the thought of whipping it out and not being able to pee on command.....lol

I've been on both sides of bad aftercare. I've found that with new partners, it should be part of the negotiations. With established partners, one should be careful not to slip into complacency. Always give more than what is needed and/or required. In my current situation, I started letting meg or girl "finish up" the others aftercare and although including them is great, 'My Scene, My aftercare' is the best policy for us. There is an advantage there that we have more emotional support through the process and I have another to fetch whatever food/water might be needed so I don’t have to leave the other.

Also, don’t forget your Top's in aftercare. Tell them they did a good job, thank them for their effort and make sure to let them know that their "sadism" was appreciated. Were all humans, some like to do really nasty things to others and need to be reminded that it’s ok....

I've always found negotiation to be an essential part of my play. It allows me to understand what the bottom wants to get out of the scene that’s being planned and an understanding of their limits within that situation also.

As rope bondage is usually my initial scene with just about everyone, I've done that negotiation quite a few time's. There are questions to ask for someone that has never been tied up before as well as those that have been hanging from the ceiling longer than I've been alive. I've taken some fine thread and tied up a single hand into some beautiful non-restrictive patterns for a nervous beginner and hung a seasoned rope bottom in a very strenuous suspension position on the first meeting. Careful negotiations are the key to making a great first scene and to get that person back for more:)

Meg and I have been able to read each other pretty well from the beginning. Our negotiations usually consists of me bringing over the rope bag or whatever toy bag I'm feeling like, and she tells me what level, if any of pain she would like. She does occasionally ask for specific things and more often than not, it’s because we haven’t done them for a while. I'm usually happy to oblige her, as a happy and well played little girl serves much better than one starved for attention. And any pleasure I get out of that is purely incidental...:)
