Yeah, man. But if I saw Vans I'd assume punk or hip-hop musical inclinations and a history skateboarding too. Also, it is kind of really hard to find Vans in Canada.

Mid-east Canada (South tip of Ontario), can't stand on a skateboard without falling off (I rode a longboard once!). My experiences with hip-hop extend to listening to the Beastie Boys when my friends do and dabbling lightly in Buck 65 when I was thirteen. I do listen to rock and roll (primarily punk and pretentious indie shit). I never wear a hat, not even a toque in the winter. My hair is long and curly.

Yeah! I was lucky to make friends with cool people older than me. I have some friends out of college now and I go out with them and their friends. They always marvel at my age, and I honestly feel like I bit of burden sometimes. I mean, they can't go to a bar if I'm around 'cause I'll get kicked out.

My grade 5 class went to some Ye Olde Ottawa Village/Ye Olde Ottawa Caves field trip once. It was the most horrifying trip of my life. The broken down buildings were playing home to a SHITLOAD of angry bees and plus the caves were super scary as well. It was something about having a big heaping mound of rock sit above your head that freaked me out.

But I was twelve, so it probably wouldn't be too frightening now that I'm older and less of a total wuss.

Oh yeah, I'm just fine. My leg got hurt a little this time, but it's just a bruise. My brother's pretty pissed off that this all happened.

As for what happened: My brother was driving me to work and he was taking a left turn at an intersection that leads into the Wal-Mart parking lot. The light was yellow for this lady but she decided to try and speed through it. So, she ends up smacking into the rear right wheel area (could've been my door if my brother didn't gun it) and warps the axle.

It's one of those things you can't really help, right? It seems like you're trying, and that's really good enough. Maybe one of these days you won't be so creeped out.

Think of it like a fear of spiders. I know they're harmless, and I even think they can be cute. I have no problem with snakes, they're fuckin' rad. But no matter how hard I try, I still wig out around spiders.
