Not to nerd it up too much, but she has been around for about 40 years, pretty much always with magic powers (although she did not realize she was born into real magic as she grew up and she has, like most superheroes, lost her powers here and there). Her father was a normal, albeit extremely talented, stage magician but her mother was a magical being.

DC vs Marvel... that is almost like debating religion.

I am afraid that it is just a poorly made show on a third rate network (well, 6th technically)... there are definite quality issues with the program and, because it seems to have been created mainly to cut up and turn into specials for the overseas market, there are too many silent pieces and acts that do not give the magician a chance to establish their character.

Randi, how are you going to dis Davey Jones? That ain't right. Not only was he nominated for a Tony well before his time with the Monkees, he was nominated for an Emmy and, I believe, won a Grammy. He has undeniable talent. Plus, he was in an episode of Scooby Doo. I don't even like Scooby Doo, but I have to admit that it places him in a highly select class, including Don Knotts and Batman!

Leif Garrett, Scott Baio and David Cassidy all kind of suck though... Wait! Is David the Partridge Family one or the Hardy Boys one?

I can help you with your Mandarin, Justin.

I only spent three weeks in Shanghai after the last FISM, but after work every day I went to the hotel and watched TV. I saw more magic those three weeks, including indepth coverage of FISM and the announcement of China hosting it in '09, then I had seen in the USA in any given year. China will probably eat up MindFreak, but they might not groove on Angel's music... they also will not recognize many of the celebrity guest stars such as Rob Zombie!

Angel is always following in Wilson's footsteps, huh? Maybe Criss will levitate Nani on the Great Wall, too!

This is obviously from their early '50s television show which is often much, much funnier than their movies (it is just a better format for their humor). Plus, they had a monkey in the early episodes!

Maybe it'll get a re-edit before release. I know that when I ran movie theaters the festival versions of films were often re-worked before release based on festival reaction. Heck, when I saw Titanic it was even LONGER than the release version!
