I'm new to Cordova and Ionic, so I was struggling to figure out why my screen kept crashing. I didn't realize that $scope was trying to access values within a plugin before the plugins were ready. I've got a loading screen now, while the device loads everything and then have the main screen showing when everything's ready.

Great stuff. Thanks again.

Re: What is the Podcast of the Month?

Hi Elsa,

The announcement is usually made a few days after the first of the month. You have to scroll past the entire post and then get to the part of the post that you're editing. For example, when you need to get to a custom field, which is a form below the post content, you have to scroll the entire length of the content.

Does anyone know how to disable this?

EDIT: found out how to disable it. At the top of the page, there's a little tab named "Screen options". Click that and then uncheck "Expand the editor to match the window height."

Re: More ways to get featured and improved podcast refreshing

Thanks! The original project I'm extending seems to have *linked* the stripe library git. If you visit the git website for the project, you see the stripe-php folder there with the correct files but those files don't get included when you download the master zip file. I don't know why but it looks like you have to download that separately. If you figure it out, please update me.

I also opened comments on the post I wrote for this plug-in. It's better to ask people to subscribe using the iTunes link I gave you so you get included in the iTunes ranks as well. iTunes will rank your podcast based on how many people subscribe to it using the "official" link (not the itms link). The more people who subscribe using the official iTunes link, the higher you'll be ranked on iTunes charts.

Re: About Podcast Land

Happy to see a fellow redditor here!

As for being listed on Podcast Land, I get the podcast lists from
iTunes so, if you're listed on iTunes, you should be listed here too. If you're not on iTunes yet, I'd recommend getting listed there because many people use iTunes to subscribe and listen to shows. You'll get a lot of listeners just by being listed there.

Once you get listed on iTunes, you should be automatically added within a few days. If you can't find your show on this site, send me the link to the show on iTunes and I'll make sure you're listed here.

Re: About Podcast Land

Hi Jonathan, I put the link to the fund raising campaign on the PotM announcement and in the side panel.

Re: Podcast of the Month for October 2013: “The Big 3 Podcast”

Absolutely! For those interested, I'll answer it now. The exposure lengths I had were specific to the intensity of my machine. My doctor prescribed 2-3 treatments a week which started about ~1 minute and increasing by a few seconds each time. Eventually it leveled off to ~5 minutes.

However, remember that your machine could have different settings than mine does and you should have a doctor prescribe a treatment plan that includes creams that amplify the results. If you do this on your own, you could risk burning your skin like a sunburn.
