And? My point is that you can't argue that not knowing anything about Snoke now makes him a less effective villain than Palpatine in Jedi. Snoke's backstory may be expanded in later media, like Palpatine's was. In the meantime you can't pretend Snoke has come "out of nowhere" and Palpatine hadn't at the same point in his own story.

Dark Side Force ghosts have shown up in current canon material — I want to say in Clone Wars and in the comics. Lucas did think Dark Side users shouldn't be able to be Force ghosts, but he's not in charge anymore so that really doesn't matter.

We didn't know literally any of that when Return of the Jedi came out. All we knew is there used to be a Republic, there's an Emperor now, he's Vader's master, and he was the one who fired the Senate a few years ago.

On the one hand, there's definitely something special about going in blind and being surprised by the twists of the Saga. (If you can put yourself back into that mindset while watching the climax of Empire, it can still give you chills.) But I, being born twelve years after Star Wars debuted, first saw the trilogy with all that knowledge and it never affected my intense love for the series.

This is ludicrous. The Daleks appear once or twice a season, as is their contractual requirement. It's true the show hasn't seen a lot of other recurring monsters lately, but I'd rather see it break new ground anyway.

(And why would the Silence come back? Their storyline was wrapped up pretty effectively.)

No they aren't. The disappearances at the Triangle are about the same as any large stretch of sea.

The whole myth of the Bermuda Triangle was begun by a bored newspaper reporter in the 1950s who found the story of a fighter squadron which had disappeared in the area. He connected it to a couple of other disappearances in the area over the past half century and handed the story in to his editor as a fluff piece.

It's since been demonstrated by other pilots that the lost squadron was actually nowhere near Bermuda, as they reported before their disappearance, but over a very similar-looking island chain. If you were over this chain but thought you were over Bermuda and corrected your heading to take you in the direction you thought the mainland was in, it would take you further out over the Atlantic. At that point, the squadron would have run out of fuel and crash-landed in the water.

I know plenty of women who enjoy housecleaning (and cooking, for that matter. One of my closest friends frequently cooks for me and her boyfriend as well as herself just because she likes to). On the other hand, I know a number of men who enjoy doing the same thing, and a bunch of people of both sexes who dislike it.
