That's fantastic Joyce!! ...I have a feeling Jimmy that you are going to encounter so many different people on your journey... more so than touring because you're out in the street and everyone just looks at you like a regular guy... most not realizing who you are at first!! ....It's not common for a celebrity to be doing what you are doing. Sure a lot of celebrities do charity work and spend days on projects... but THIS is completely different. You have committed yourself to MMH and it's not just a day long fundraising event... this is lasting for months! When this is over and you reach Phoenix, I believe that you will be a different person. Your experiences walking are definitely gonna stay with you. You're spending a lot of time by yourself... alone with your own thoughts, it's a good opportunity to be writing music... I'm sure you must be journaling everyday!!

Don't get me wrong I LOVE animals and would never wish harm, but PLEASE be careful Jimmy, you don't know what animals you may encounter. Not only wild dogs but coyotes too... remember it's the winter and they're looking for food... don't let it be you Sneaky Monkey!!! ...I know you have your walking poles, but seriously it helps to walk with a good size stick.. I do when I go walking.

Moe, I think we're all losing sleep over Jimmy!!! ...I'm worrying about him too, especially with the snow that they'll be getting down there soon. I think it's the same weather system that will be hitting us. Hopefully Jenny B. or someone local will pick him up and drop him off at a motel somewhere. He doesn't need to be out in a snowstorm... that's just too much. He definitely needs to stay healthy and strong!

Thank you for letting me know. I didn't hear it, but goaliej54 on here is from Rhode Island and she heard Cat Country talk about Jimmy and MMH the other morning.

You're right we just have to keep sending messages and calling to let them know... just like we had in the past with trying to get Jimmy's music more air time.

That's great to hear that there are more shelters out there that truly care about people and provide not just a place to stay but support as well. When you think of it, what good is it to feed and shelter someone that has addiction problems if there aren't any resources that can help them overcome their problems. Some will seek out the help and some will not, but at least if counseling is available to them it gives them the option where in most cases they wouldn't find help anywhere else.

I hope your sister is doing well!!!
