Skydiving is the BEST!!!! Totally awesome fun! I did it a couple of times a few years ago (and for free too!) Really, you have to do this!

And to make you even more jealous, I did it solo, not strapped to an experienced instructor. We got pushed onto the strut of the plane with an instructor either side and then we let go of the plane..... The instructors held your arms until you got to about 4000ft, then let go and you had to pull the cord and find the ground all by yourself.... It was amazing!!!

The interesting thing is (if you're scared of heights) that you don't get scared that high up. It doesn't feel like you're up high. Sounds weird I know, but it's true.

BTW, I want to see the video of Jade as well, not just you.

I'm with you Kendra. I think the expectation that so many WAHMs have, that they can run a business practically full-time, earn a full-time income, AND be a full-time caregiver for their children is unachievable. However, telling someone that "You're going to need to organise child care to get that much done" is not a popular opinion.

Working at Home is a great option, and makes great business sense for so many people. However we're not superwomen and we need to keep in mind realistic expectations.

Ummm, the first time I did a teleseminar there were supposed to be two guest speakers. One of them didn't turn up. Every few minutes on the recording you can hear me asking "Is 'guest speaker' on the call yet?" in a nervous little voice.

The second teleseminar I did (a year later, because I lost my confidence on the first one) I lost my voice about five minutes in. Managed to continue for an hour with croaking out a couple of words, drinking, then croaking out a few more.

They don't sound too bad now, but at the time they were horrifying!

Really? Redirects is a feature of WP3? I had no idea - I have all my redirects set up as a script in the pages! Heading off to check that one out...

And Genesis is on my shortlist when I next do an upgrade - I'm using one of the older StudioPress themes and love it.

That's so true isn't it Daniel. Not what people want to hear, they want instant results from day one and easy writing with it. When I first started writing posts I was hard pushed to come up with half a dozen good topics. Now every post seems to spin off a couple of related topics.

I think it's one of those things that people often don't understand until they experience it. Logic seems to say that when you write a lot you'll run out of topics - as we've both found the opposite is true. :-)

Well said Jade, and damn you, I was going to write a really similar post for this week! LOL.

People need to look beyond the obvious JV's and affiliates here. Ittybiz/Dave Navarro/Copyblogger/Men with Pens/Johnny Truant/Sonia Simone are such an incestuous little community, if you're on one list you tend to be on all of them. Hence when there's a launch from anyone in their communities it tends to be pushed by all or most of them. (Note: I really love all these guys and think they're great. I'm not criticising their work at all)

It's a big wide world out there, with a lot more people than those in this circle. I've got the full launch for my Two Hour Business Plan coming up in a few weeks and I'll be very careful who I approach to promote it. With no price increases or closing dates to increase scarcity either.... ;-)

I'm happy this issue came out when it did, it's forced me to really think about my launch strategy and take a very serious look at what I'm doing and how I can improve it.
