I'd read so many interesting reviews on 'Runt Farm Under New Management' I just had to read it for myself. I found it to be one of the most delightful stories I've ever read.
Now I see that the author, Amanda Lorenzo, is as equally interesting as her books. May there be many more Runt Farm adventures!

What a great article. The Pinky and Peanut series sounds delightful, after all who knows what kids want to read about better than teachers. I really like the 'kindness and goodness' aspect.

It's good to hear about a 'useful' book that has been used for the intended situation and everyone's come up smiling. My little ones are all grown and now having little ones of their own, but this sounds like the perfect gift.

This article makes me wish I was a kid again. My childhood libraray was a gloomy place with an very scary librarian, only my love of books kept me returning. It's so wonderful to hear modern libraries have a completely different atmosphere. Anything that connects children and books is a good thing. Books can be magic.

Todd, your post really made me teary. I'd always admired other people scrapbooks and expressed regret that I was far too un-artistic to do one myself. Then my Mother died unexpectantly and far too young. All the photos that had previously meant very little to me suddenly became very important. My scrapbook for future generations isn't the prettiest, or the most imaginative, but it's made with immeasurable love and I like to think that shines through and makes it memorable.
