Well I'll be super-duper cool by blogging about it, tweeting about it AND telling you a joke. Got to cover my bets, right?

OK, here's the joke :

Little Johnny's pet hamster Hamstie died, and he was crying as he watched his dad bury it. Rigor mortis had set in and Johnny asked his dad why the hamster had its legs in the air and was all stiff and open eyed.

Daddy thought of a way to explain this to him in the nicest way possible, to console the little kid. "Don't cry, little Johnny, Hamstie is going to Jesus. That's why he's raising his arms to heaven. He will be happy there".

Johnny stopped crying and looked alarmed. "What's the matter, Johnny?" asked his dad.

"Daddy, I think mommy almost died yesterday. She had her legs up in the air too when she was in bed. She was also screaming 'oh God, I'm coming, I'm coming, take me to Jesus!' ... good thing Uncle Frank was there to hold her down to the bed!!".

Yes, I make a point of working my way through the list every day. But I am also adding to the list every day so it seems the more I read and take off, the more gets added back on! It's a never-ending task.

If it's a website, I use the Firefox extension "ReadItLater". In Google Reader, I either open the page and then save with ReadItLater or I email it to myself. As a result, I have a huge RIL list.

I have had serious screaming matches with Firefox since the beginning of this year. As you said, it crashes a LOT and it hogs a LOT of memory and I was restarting Firefox around once an hour / 90 minutes, which is completely ridiculous.

I have Chrome installed as well but I can't quite make the complete switch over because of the Firefox extensions and Greasemonkey scripts I need to use.

Why can't Google work out that extensions and scripts are probably the one thing stopping people from completely switching over? If they worked hard on this area of Chrome, I reckon LOTS of people would then switch over 100% and Firefox would be in trouble.

Emma : it's possible that iTunes doesn't recognise your ownership of the other songs (the DRM is at fault here). Did you legally download these songs from iTunes? Did you use a different computer to download them? I am not sure how to circumvent the DRM to be honest but this might be the problem.

You can transfer it to an external hard-drive if there is 80GB space on there. Should be no problem. Just don't disconnect the hard-drive during the whole procedure.

Wow, I am really shocked because I don't see any of that at all. I am using the latest version of HSS and I have just started it to see if it is doing it to me and it isn't.

So I am really pissed off that I am promoting it on MakeUseOf and now I am hearing this that they are engaging in unethical behaviour.

But it looks like that they are only doing it to users in certain countries and I would really like to know why they are targeting UK users, since I am British myself. I am tempted to fire off a nasty email.

So these ads are being placed on the actual webpage and you have to click past them? Wow. Well that doesn't happen for me so that must be a country-specific thing.

Can't you just ignore them? After all, you're getting to watch programmes such as Star Trek.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about regarding the advertising. I have Hotspot Shield on my computer and I have been watching Star Trek on YouTube from my home here in Germany and it works perfectly. I have seen no advertising whatsoever. The streaming is also very fast for me so your streaming problem is a Hulu problem in my opinion.

Hotspot Shield is just a small app which sits in your taskbar and suppresses your IP address so the advertising issue is most probably ALSO coming from Hulu, NOT Hotspot Shield.

Please don't take this the wrong way but I would also recommend you run an adware scan on your computer to be on the safe side.

Oh come on! They're not THAT bad! :-)

I admit that they are not as good as the 1980's, when they did songs such as "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" and "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". But they are still really good when you compare them to a lot of the total dross that you see in the music charts today - all blond hair, long legs, big tits and no voice.

As for Bono delving into politics, well his preaching does get irritating now and then but he does do a lot of good, raising money and awareness. You can't fault him for what he's trying to do.

Windows Explorer - press your Windows key on the keyboard (the one with the Microsoft logo) and then "E". You'll then see options at the top. One of them is Tools.

Just go to File-->Add Folder To Library. Choose your folder and the contents of that folder will be added to iTunes.

What the hell do you think you are playing at accusing one of my writers of plagarism?

This is extremely unprofessional of you accusing one of my writers of something like this on a public comments board - without providing evidence to back your claim up. This humiliates Ryan and damages his reputation online.

If you ever want to accuse one of my writers of anything, you email me in private with the evidence and I will deal with it immediately.

Either provide the evidence that Ryan plagarised this article or retract your accusation and apologise to Ryan.

And if you think I am overreacting, think of it this way - would you like me (or one of the MakeUseOf staff) to come onto Mashable's comments and accuse one of the Mashable writers of plagarism? I don't think so. It isn't so nice when the boot's on the other foot.

Pipl has actually found stuff that it shouldn't be able to find. For example, when I tried it out, it found a private PDF document on a personal website with no other weblinks attached to it. So in theory, it shouldn't have been found and spidered. But Pipl found it! That made me a bit nervous.

If you are using Firefox, check your add-ons and see if you have the Skype toolbar installed (when you install Skype, there is an option at the beginning to go into the "extras" and untick the option to install the Skype toolbar - it's easy to miss). If you have it, uninstall it. If it isn't a toolbar, it should be something else, Skype-related in your add-ons.
