I think you're missing my point. It was a simple error I would have caught if I had bothered to read my own comment before hitting post. The point is that anyone that feels ugly people are a waste of air is a horrible human being. People have more value than superficial bullshit like how they look. I have nothing against your blog, I've been reading it for a long time, but when someone makes ridiculous statements (It didn't appear to be you) like that i have to call it out. On further reading it would appear that she/he is referring to ugly mean people. Perhaps I should have worded things differently but people that base how they treat others on superficialities are horrible human beings.

Again, I'm not Christian, but perhaps you would like to look into the Red Letter Christians seems to be an interesting progressive movement in the US. The group seems to ascribe to a much more positive philosophy when it comes to Christianity.

While I'm not Christian or really religious, isn't the whole love thing what Christianity is supposed to be about? The New Testament (from what I remember, I am a baptized evil Catholic, though non practicing) was a sheer break away from the past. Giving up the God of fear (meaning one must fear God as your devotion to him) to the God of love (to where you should love Jesus/God/Humanity) above all else. The sermon on the mount was the break. As Lennon/McCartney said again later, "All you need is love." A rejection of that isn't christian at all, it's a bastardization of it. No more sacrifices, no more of the old ways. Love love love above all else. Everything else is Fear.

This comment should perhaps be where you say you are "the love kid" for context but meh.
