Francine: I'll confess that I tried the Listerine Zero, but it just wasn't the same. I'm back on my regular Drunken Fetus Listerine routine! I figured a healthy host-mom heart and gums is better than simply "fresh breath."

That's the spirit! You will use this EVERY NIGHT, so it's worth it. I'm seriously at the point where I am not sure I'd be able to sleep without it. Again, my hips are KILLING ME at night...

I'd argue there's not only a place, but a dire need, for transparent portrayals of "births and deaths and missteps and milestones" on the Internet. You'll never know how often someone is struggling with an issue, Googles the topic and finds YOUR BLOG. They read that you've walked in their shoes; they feel better. Hopeful.

Many times when you read a blog, you're fully aware (or you should be) that you're getting a glimpse of someone's ideal self, not the real gal. This isn't the case with you. You show the good, bad and the fugly. It's refreshing. And I hope it continues.
