If it did what it says, maybe they'd be alive today, rather than turning to chemical assistance for their unconsciousness needs.

I bet the air inside one of those stinks in the morning though. It would trap every burp, fart, and other odor emitted.

Interestingly, it looks a lot like a Star Trek shuttlecraft, and those do not look like comfortable places to sleep.

Re: Overclockers.com - Notes From a Long-Term Netbook User

These netbooks (I'm on a 9" Acer Aspire One right now) aren't designed for heavy lifting. Nobody who uses one expects them to be good at it. In spite of that, I have found this to be a surprisingly capable machine all around -- it will drive a large (20") external monitor at 1600x1200 without complaint while ALSO using the built-in screen, the keyboard is actually fairly pleasant once you get used to it (though I still plug in a full-size keyboard at home), and 160 GB of drive space really is adequate, as is 1 GB of RAM for XP. When I hook up the external keyboard and monitor and close the lid, it's really easy to forget I'm using a $300 netbook. The only thing missing is an optical drive, which is why I just ordered a slimline DVD burner.

Battery life is adequate, even with the 3-cell battery. I did not like what the 6-cell battery does to the form factor so I opted to take the shorter life. That is still 2 to 3 hours.

While I would not want to use this as my only computer, I can imagine a lot of people really wouldn't mind. That was a bit of a surprise.

Re: Overclockers.com - Pirate Bay - A Generation War

Let me inject some reality into your numbers.

When I go out for a gig, I'll play three sets. Granted our band has nine people (because the contract says we must, we could do it with eight or even seven), but the pay rate is $70 for me. Some guys get less, and guys with heavy equipment (like the keyboard or bass) get somewhat more, but still not more than $100. It does not matter how many people show up with respect to what we get paid (though if people don't show up, we don't get re-booked).

Oh, and we get one gig a week during GOOD times.
