These "self-impresed journalists," as you call us, did our due diligence to check on the story. It was verified. Then redacted later when it clearly was getting out of hand. Now we're getting the blowoff and scoff from the president of the company whose "joke" was issued 2 days before April Fool's. You, however, have a closed profile and apparently some kind of invested interest in VW as you troll these comments.

The title and intro blurb to this article are so stupidly written that I didn't bother reading the article itself. This is just a dumb political attack couched in supposed reporting about a market trend.

The reality: fully automated big rigs are DECADES away. Not next year, not next week, not even 2020. AT LEAST 10 more years, probably longer. Then the change won't happen overnight. It will take YEARS as fleets slowly adopt the new tech.

By then, it will be President Oprah's problem and Rolling Stone will likely write her praises for "modernizing the American trucking industry." Because this publication has no obvious political bias..

The first computer's invention is up for grabs as those of Babbage (not employed at a university) and Zuse (also not employed at a university). Babbage gave up his design and Zuse had the first working digital computer in Europe, which he built through his COMPANY with funding from another corporation (IBM).

Nearly all Internet connections are now made through commercial connections, not government. Even government connections are usually through commercial trunks. Ask anyone in military IT.

Funny. Scientists predicted there would be no polar caps by 2010, then 2015. They predicted no glaciers by now. None of those worked out. I think these "predictions" are all b.s. In the 1970s, we were going into an ice age. Woops.

Sorry, not buying this one either. I now await the multiple uses of the term "denier" and "Trump lover" and so forth. Because science.

The "leak" is part of a continually orchestrated "us vs them" narrative in which the populace is kept looking at "them" (currently "Trump Supporters" or "Hillary Supporters") as the "enemy." One needs only to look at Trump's actions since winning the election to see that he's nothing but another schill.
