Pujols is starting to be the reference point though, for all other ML Players. That alone, whether we like it or not, has to thrust him into the conversation at the very least.

He has a chance to be the GOAT, because lets face it, the current GOAT wasn't exactly a defensive wizard out there in right. I think his bat can carry the lack of difficulty playing his position. I really do.

Of course he is not there yet. But he might be.

It's only going to increase as the weather heats up. I remember my uncle doing a piece on weekend violence in Chicago and that weekend they ended up with around 25 deaths in 67 shootings.

I think that it would be funny if the Cubs ended up getting him at the trade deadline. There is no guarantee that when Rammy comes back he'll be able to carry this team on his shoulders, and the Cubs will need an offensive weapon in the second half, thus far pitching and defense has not been a problem.

I don't know who'd be out there for the Cubs to get. What I'd like to see is actually movind DLee (even though I love him) while he still has some value and try and get another 1b. My Pipe dream is Adrian Gonzalez, but I don't know how likely that is to happen.
