To 1. and 2. -- lately I have actually really gotten used to watching Instagram in my web browser on the Mac. Not only is it more fun to see everything on the bigger screen but there are no ads. Like no ads at all.

Downside: the chronology of the timeline gets messed up for some reason. No idea why. But still, at least there are NO ads.

Tried it on the Mac and while it kinda works on some basic level on most channels I still get the error message "This channel isn’t currently available in your region.".

I really don't understand why Apple restricts the use of the News app outside of a handful of countries.

Many of those were obviously taken at conventions and similar events so there's really nothing unusual about it. I have about 30+ photos of myself next to some celebrities, even a few shown in this article. Sometimes they are kind enough to take a pic if you ask them and at some events you can actually pay for a pic with the celebrity of your choice.

Did they pull the 10.14.1 update as well? Software Update keeps telling me that 10.14 is the most recent version and does not offer me an update option.

Did the pull the update? I was able to update my watch when the update was released but now when my gf checks her Watch app it says that 5.0.1 is the latest. What's up with that?

Good god, Instagram -- just let people have "chronological" as an option if they don't want to use that ridiculous and useless algorithm! What is so wrong with just scrolling through your stuff in chronological order anyway? Why is Facebook so obsessed with those algorithms? At least on FB I can still switch back to "Most recent", even though I have to do it pretty much every day.

Not really. Even if you had money coming out of your butt some things just aren't worth the price if you stop and think about it for a moment.

Anyway, I'd be interested in how loud this thing is -- have you tested that? All fridges hum, some more and others less. Considering that this "table" would probably be placed in a nice living room, is it actually noticable when you watch a movie or listen to music?

Here in Germany and many other European countries the TV app is pretty much useless due to the lack of supported channels and apps, so why would I want that as my main screen?! You need to remember that there's more to the world than just the US.
