Yes GLAAD would like us all to live in a Rainbow world with rose colored glasses however we don't. The attitude toward Ts exists, some (as with other folks) are just plain nutcases as portrayed in the episode and I'll bet my last dollar GLAAD has no problem accepting donations from CBS Broadcasting, those within the company and the producers of CSI to add to GLAAD's coffers.

Thanks for sharing the audio.

After doing the short 13 minute show and listening to it now several times I've come to the stark realization I'm not the same broadcaster I once was.

This "slap in the face" moment makes me realize my med issues of the past year has indeed affected my concentration and speech.

There was a time I could ad-lib a 15 minute show with nary a pause, not so any more. But it's not in my nature to give up after one attempt and will continue on with more shows either with a guest or just short commentary.

This in and of itself will provide the fuel for a posting, perhaps today at The Rainbow Seniors blog, about how as we get older and in my case after having med issues such as a mini-stroke, heart attack and going under anesthesia several times our minds aren't as sharp as they once use to be.

But that doesn't mean we (I) need to throw in the towel, no, we just need to work a little harder than we did before.

Let me tell ya'll something ... put away the boxes of tissues.

We all get old .. that's life. It's how you make the most (or least) of life and that my friends is up to you.

On September 17th I'll turn 59 and I'm lucky to be here.

After a car accident and a heart attack in 2011 I'm very lucky to still be alive and kicking.

At some point in my life I'll relocate to Arizona where I have an extended family of cousins.

True enough not everyone is lucky enough to have family and friends to fall back on.

While you can't make family, you can make friends.

Get involved with groups, pink or straight .. it doesn't matter .. just get out there.

For those so hung up on having a life partner, well there's not much I can say as I'm long over it.

It's up to you to make your life what it is.

I'll be living on meager means and probably will still be working at least part-time to get by as long as I can.

But family aside and even if I had none, if I had to settle with sitting home reading good books, watching baseball on TV and going out on Wednesday nights playing bingo with the old farts .. would I be happy ?
