An urban trip during the Christmas holiday season can often be near the lowest hotel rates of the year for upscale and luxury center city hotels. Last year I booked several nights in San Francisco at the Westin St. Francis for $100 per night, 30 to 40% of average rates.

When business travel declines during the holidays the large city hotels discount rooms to attract leisure travelers.

I do not have a pumpkin photo on the Loyalty Traveler post titled "Haunted Hotel or Singapore Changi Madness" I can't play with the post anymore or I may lose pieces of the story again. The spirits are interfering with my blog.

Well, my story gave me the most difficult time I've ever had trying to upload a post. The entire portion of the story regarding the hotel room kept disappearing. I kept dumping the draft and starting anew. Finally I got the story uploaded and then reading through I saw pictures were missing. Mostly the pictures showing the orbs in my rooms.
