Well, I don't feel that as a fan, I can judge if it seems right or wrong. I don't know you personally. However, I liked this bit: "Generally sunny and optimistic, Gabe Saporta has a cheering effect on those around him... He enjoys a wide circle of friends who are like family to him." You refer to your band mates as your brothers and sister and also your fans. We're all one huge family in a way ;)

But I feel that "Gabe Saporta still has too much time on his hands!" should be included somewhere!

Wow.

I kind of don't know what to think of it. Maybe you could have handled it better, instead of using below the belt insults like 'fat', although I'm pretty sure that would have been the first thing that came out of my mouth if I was in your situation. Or a 'your mum' insult... But I'm glad you took that into your own hands. Having negative energy around you at a gig fucking sucks. I had some douchebag little girls behind me at my first Cobra gig in February, who were glaring at me because I knew all of the words to While The City Sleeps songs and kept hitting me and yanking my hair to get me out of the crowd, although they were like 3 years younger than me. I mean, what the fuck?! Whatever. But it makes the crowd feel like shit, surrounding people feel like shit and understandably, it makes the band up on stage feel shit. You don't deserve the heckling and you guys have worked fucking hard to get to where you are now. So if you're at a Cobra gig, you dance and enjoy it or shut the fuck up and get out.
Kind of sucks that just because you're in a band or something, people forget that you're human and forget that you have feelings too. Any sort of negative behaviour towards someone isn't nice and this is just getting blown out of proportion. At least this shows you're not a pushover ;)
Must admit, I feel a little sad that there isn't love in the crowd at Cobra shows. Stupid heckling jocks and (in my case -_-) annoying little kids that are just purposely pissing others off. We're all Cobras here, we're all bros and we're all a (meant to be) one big happy family!

And if someone dishes it, they've got to be able to take it.
Anyway, thanks for this post and for explaining.

Plus, heckling is for assholes. And if you're going to be an asshole, then you clearly do not belong at a Cobra show.

Glad you had a great time! It was amazing, a day I definitely won't forget.
I queued for over 7 hours, it snowed, it was freezing, my fingers hurt so bad and I couldn't stop shaking for the whole of soundcheck but it was worth it!

I don't like CC. You can ignore it by not logging in, but it's still there and ignoring it won't make it go away. I don't like the fact that it's there in the first place. I've ranted and raved for so long about how you should never make a fanclub before you even made one. We can all feel it's presence there.
