I live in Dayton Ohio I passed big butter all the time. I think that whole graven image thing really does still piss off the big guy. That was the ugliest statue I have ever seen. It looks like the runner up in a 3rd grade sculpture contest. Also I wonder how the preacher of that church is going to spin that one in this sundays sermon.

The only reason people invinted god in the first place is a fear of death and the unknown. If we feel that we have a supernatural force behind us protecting us than we don't have to be afraid. When you come to grips with the reality of death and overcome your fear of it, you will realize that there is absolutly no point to believe in a god. I have acomplished so much now that I think about life rationally. I am going to graduate college in a week, I have a new car, an athiest wife that I enjoy spending time with and also a new apartment, also she just got hired on at a new job!!! Now that I don't talk to my self on my knees I am doing wonderful

Wow, thats odd I do remeber reading the bible out loud on the school bus. Wittnessing to complete strangers. Helping out any one that needed it. Wearing those ridiculus christian T-shirts. giving my time and money to the church. reading my bible day after day. Not watching any thing with profanity or nudity. And being persicuted by christian and non christian alike I was thirty times the christian than any I ever ran into. They can take "You never were" and cram it up there ass!!!

I think that if they were praying just because they wanted to and were not forcing any one else to pray that is fine. As long as they let every one else do there thing. If they were just praying and were fair with every one else and respectected every one elses beliefs than I don't believe in jail time. Now if they were cracking down on every one else that wasn't christian and they they got busted for praying then they have it coming. but being arrested just for praying is a little crazy. Just because your praying and kids see you do it that dosen't mean they will join in.

I think it is funny that people don't think there is any thing wrong with a religion that dosen't allow your to question. You would think that people especialy adults would realize that the reason they don't want you to question is because it is all Bs and they would lose control. Also who wants all there "sinful" experiences to go away. They are a big part of what makes you special and unique as a person. I personally find flaws and inperfections in woman especially to be a turn on. I think it is better to embrace everything about your self. In doing so life has so much more meaning.

I think people who attend church like to torture people because they are jealous of all the freedom and fun that sinners have. Plus having to jump through all the hoops that god puts out there like some sort of circus animal would make me want to ritulistically torture people.

That is wonderful that you can recite words from a prehistoric book. But I deal in the realm of reality not in the moldy old pages of never never land. There was no comfort or peace of mind in christianity it was a mind fuck from beginging to end. It was the worst experience I have ever went threw and I am happy to think for my self.

There is no god there never was a god it is all made up. People are so retarded that they need a security blanket to help them cope with death. We made up gods to control the masses. No one knows what made us so I think it would probably be a good Idea to just not make assumptions that some prehistoric book is any were close to the solution. If we had some of the other beliefs that they held as truth back then we would still believe in majic a flat earth, and that every time a thunder storm hit it is the rath of god. Please do not talk to me if you have any belief in any god, because people that believe in gods make me go nuclear.

Were you said that you don't know if you will ever find happiness, I know exactly how you feel. I have been in a mentally abusive relationship with one of the most hippacritical christians I have ever met. I thought there was no hope and that all woman were sick and sadistic. but I ran into some one a few weeks ago who was nice sweet and had the same values and belief system that I have. I guess what I am trying to say just at the moment when you are feeling your lowest there will be a moment when you relize there is so much more out there than pain you are going through. hang in there in the flash of a light it will get better and you laugh the hole thing off.
