Go to Skeptics Corner: www.inu.net/skeptic/ There is lots of information demonstrating that the Bible is a hoax. You can also read a few books: "The Jesus Puzzle" by Earl Doherty, "Gospel Fictions" by Randal Helms, and "Who Wrote The New Testament?" by Burton L. Mack.

Keep in mind though that some of this reading might be difficult; in order to find out the truth about the Bible, you must take an analytical approach, which means study.

The truth will not find you, you must find it. Being a Christian is easy - all you have to do is believe what your church tells you; but being a skeptic is difficult - you have to find out the truth for yourself.

This person "Jesus" never really existed. Jesus is a myth that was created by the apostle Paul and the author of the Gospel According to Mark.
The earliest writings of the New Testament were the Pauline epistles, around 50 A.D. Paul wrote of a spiritual Christ whose death and resurrection (a concept keeping with the Greek gods) provided the key for gentiles to have access to the Jewish god. Paul never mentioned anything about the events that happened in the gospels (the Sermon on the Mount, the miraculous healings, the comments about the pharisees, Pontious Pilate, etc.)- because Paul had never heard of them, because they never happened! Mark was the one who introduced all of these events in his Gospel (around 80 A.D.) - apparantly to provide a "history" of the leader of the Cult of Jesus to his followers.

What is more, Paul and Mark were charlatans, probably much like the televangelists of today, who intentionally duped their followers (and now duping you) with outright lies.

For example,

1) Paul said that Jesus the Christ came "in accordance to the scriptures." Bible scholars for two thousand years have been searching for those scriptures and still can't find them. Paul lied.

2) Paul said that the Christians, an appeal to the gentiles, were the "seed of Abraham" as a fulfilment of the promise to Abraham. Anybody who reads that scripture in the Old Testament knows that the promise was to Abraham, who was Jewish, and the gentiles don't count in that. Paul lied again.

3) Mark said that the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed at the death of Jesus. In fact, the temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. Mark lied. Actually, the entire Gospel according to Mark was contrived by him based on a few sayings (The Gospel According to Thomas, The Book of Q.) The other three gospels in the New Testament were written based on Mark's Gospel. None of the writers of the gospels were eye-witnesses to the events described in them.

Christianity is the second biggest hoax in the history of mankind (the first is Islam, they have more followers). I suggest you take a little time to study your Bible. It's just one big myth. Larr Xiloj, you have been duped real big, but don't be ashamed, you're not alone.

Brother Jeff and I are old hands at being Christian (now ex-christian/atheists). We were Christians for many years at a number of Christian churches. (I myself was involved with the Southern Baptists and later with the Assembly of God).

We have pretty much seen and heard it all. The rhetoric that you are providing us with is word for word exactly what I began hearing when I was still in diapers in the church nursery, where the Sunday morning worship service was piped in. I grew up hearing the same kind of "Jesus is love" plabum throughout my teens until, at the age of 19, I realized that Jesus hadn't ever really done anything for me and that he probably never would.

I can tell you what is real about the Christian experience:

1. Fellowship
Christians get a sense of belonging when they are in a
group of people who share a common belief, despite the
fact that the common belief is false.

2. Love
In their fellowship, true and genuine love is exchanged.
Love makes people wanted and feel important, and it
creates great personal value. Christians believe that
this love comes from God, but we know that love is a
human emotion. Here it is merely evoked by the belief in
God.

3. A Sense of Righteousness
Christians feel that they have been forgiven and are
leading a righteous life. They have a feeling that what
they are doing is pure, good, and correct, regardless of
the fact that these standards for righteousness are
entirely human in origin.

4. Faith and Hope
Christians have a great sense of hope for the future and faith that God will provide these things. The thing that they hope for the most is going to Heaven after they die and not having to spend all eternity burning in Hell. This is kind of Catch-22, isn't it? You can't really know until after your dead, right? And if you get cheated, who do you complain to?

Another thing that they hope for is to be included in
the glory the 2nd Coming of Jesus, when the whole world
will know that the Christians were right and everyone
else was wrong. By the way,they have been waiting for
this for 2000 years. How long will they have to wait?

Yet another hope that the Christians have is that Jesus
will make their lives better. Christians often hope that
Jesus will help them do well in school, get a good job,
find an appropriate marriage partner, heal diseased
friends and family, among other things, but Jesus doesn't
do any of these. And when Christians are confronted with
the reality that Jesus is not going to work miracles in
their lives, they write it off by saying that no one can
truly understand God's will, or they blame themselves for
not being a good enough Christian.

What is false about Christianity?

1. God
Never existed, never will. I don't believe in God, Allah, Buddha, Zeus or any other deity. The followers of the world religions all say that theirs is the one true god and that the others are all false. I have simply circumvented all of this by saying that they are all false.

2. Jesus Christ

Can a rape victim forget the rape? Should Jews forget about the holocaust? Should blacks ignore the KKK? Well, I'm not going to forget it, and I'm not going to let Christians forget about their evil cult either. Christianity robs people of their lives because it leads believers to ignore reality. It makes them put their trust, time, energy, and money into false hopes and empty promises. It leads people down the rosy path to only find disappointment and despair.

What has God ever done for you? Think about it. Think about the last five prayers that you prayed. What kind of job did God do? How many relatives have you had that have died from terminal diseases? How many friends have you had that have died in traffic accidents? Was God on a coffee break or what?

I was one of the lucky ones. I realized at the age of 19 that Christianity was a load of hogwash, but there are still countless millions of people out there who are held in captivity of Christianity by the fear of going to Hell. They are in misery, as I was, trying to make Jesus, who never existed, real in their lives. All they can do is blame themselves for not being a good enough Christian - a vicious cycle of self abuse, indeed! Christianity is evil!

Crusaders like Brother Jeff and I are trying to help Christians realize that they don't have to be afraid anymore. There is no Heaven and there is no Hell. You can actually enjoy life without having to worry that God is watching you 24 hours a day.

Sister Anna, you too can be free from the terrible torment of Christianity. All you have to do is realize that God and Jesus never existed (Virgin birth? Miracles? Death and resurrection? Come on, be serious!!!)

You are a victim of ignorance and delusion. You lack the basic knowledge of the New Testament and how Christianity began. Neither God nor Jesus ever existed. I suggest you undertake a serious study of your religion. Here are a few books to get you started:

"The Jesus Puzzle" by Earl Doherty
"Jesus Never Existed" by Kenneth Humphrys
"Gospel Fictions" by Randel Helms

You can't simply go by what your pastor(s) tell you. They simply want sheep-like followers, so they will only tell you what will create that effect. You need to find out the truth on your own. These books should answer many questions for you.
